Spring when it's often quite nice and sunny but the air's quite crisp and there's the summer to look forward to, it also means the cricket seasons on the way

See for me Autumn is my favourite. It goes between very warm and cold, but not freezing. The leaves on the trees go an array of spectacular colours then scatter on the ground and go crunchy (amazing when you run through them and they make that rustling sound), smell of bonfires can be smelt in late Autumn, and the evenings have some amazing sunsets.

It would be winter but I don't think its appropriate to call a month of a less unbearable heat winter.

So it's summer, Christmas + New Year + Carnival. It sounds silly, but during summer I feel more authentic than ever.

And I've only experienced Autumn or Spring when I lived abroad.

all have their strong points but autumn is always prettiest. Spring is too rainy, summer too hot and winter too dead. I love September... it's still quite warm.

I tend to just associate Autumn with rain really, and the depressing period where Summer is over but we're not near Xmas yet

I also associate Autumn (and especially winter) with sadness.

It's actually really beautiful (especially for you all that actually have proper snow and etc) :hmph: but I dunno I think It feels lively when the weather is warm. Not so much when its cold.

I'm sure I would love winter if I had a winter though.

Its either Summer or Winter but my feelings toward each one change depending on how intense the last one was.

So atm, my favourite is winter, the heat from last summer dragged out far too long. I just want a freezing cold winter with lots of snow now.

So many prefer winter? I'm quite surprised. Autumn is my fave, especially while most of the leaves haven't fallen off the trees yet.

Winter? Seriously? Maybe I like the first 2 weeks but that's it. You got Christmas which is always fun and then you have 2 months and change of dreary weather. The fact that Winter is clobber the other seasons tells me there are a lot of indoor people here.

Spring, especially when it's all Aprilly, I love the unpredictableness (?) one minute it's dark storm clouds and rain, the next minute it's blazing sunshine with rainbows

Use to be Winter 'cus I loved sitting in, the snow and the fire and all that Christmas stuff.

Now it's Summer - because I love going out and having craic now when it's warm and everyone being in an amazing mood, the banter in Summer is amazing.

Autumn is the best. I love the colors, i love the clothes, I love the holidays (Halloween and Thanksgiving), and most of all i love the smell of wet leaves and chimney smoke. It's all magical. The Fall is definitely the best season by a mile.
