Jam and jelly are two totally different things.. Most americans call it all "jelly" because they don't know the difference, but "Jelly" doesn't contain fruit chunks and is often artificially flavored where as "jam" or "preserves" is more or less mashed up peices of fruit and often includes the seeds. Jam is called "jelly" due to ignorance. The english should then continue to call jelly, "jelly" and jam, "jam".

Yeah, they do call it that over there, like they call

Scones - Biscuits
Biscuits - Cookies
Chips - Fries
Crisps - Chips

I read recently they are now saying tomato sauce is now one of their five-a-day.

As for eating anything odd I don't think I have, I'm very particular about what I put in my mouth.

I got 20 bigmacs and 10 whoppers, put them in a tray cooked bacon strips and put them on top. After that I cooked minced beef in spag sauce and put that on top. Then finally I put lots of Jack Daniels on it and it tasted so good!

I ate camel when I was on holiday in tunisia.

We were all inclusive and they told me it was beef.

Was really nice actually, but I felt sick for ages after my dad told me what it was(conveniently AFTER I had polished the lot off :bored: )

Aside from that, have tried dog chocolate buttons when I was a lot younger. And now I have mint sauce on everything...not too odd really

not really odd, i just like eating loads of plain stuff that most people put stuff in, or have stuff with. Like eating poppadums, naan bread or tortillas on their own (the latter taste really good if they're toasted for a bit).

Nutella + anything = a good way to experiment, too. I put it on croissants.
