Biggest Loser trainer Angie Dowds has been found dead at Beachy Head, near Eastbourne.

Dowds, 42, who starred as a mentor on the ITV1 weight loss reality show earlier this year, is feared to have fallen or jumped from the chalk cliff on Sunday (November 20).

A police spokesperson said: "Just after 4.30pm on Sunday, November 20, members of the public reported that a woman was seen to jump or fall from the top of cliffs at Beachy Head.

"Coastguards found the body of a woman at the foot of the cliffs about an hour later. There are no suspicious circumstances and it is believed that the body may be that of a 42-year-old woman from London."

Dowds reportedly battled drink and drugs problems in the past, but was voted 'Personal Trainer of the Year' in 2006 and starred alongside Richard Callender and host Davina McCall in ITV's primetime relaunch of Biggest Loser in January.

McCall led the tributes to Dowds, writing on Twitter: "Rest in peace Angie Dowds @angechops. So so sad."

Calleder added: "R.I.P Angie (@angechops) Dowds. You helped inspire & educate millions with both a growl and a smile. You'll be missed. #inaquietplacenow xx."

A formal identification is being carried out later today.

So it's not suicide, you should probably change the title

I know that :rolleyes:

90% of the articles I've read have said suicide/that she jumped to her death so I'm sticking with it until we get the coroners report or the police confirm that it wasn't suicide.
