I haven't read any of the threads on tonights performances but as a huge Red Hot Chili Peppers fan, I have to say, how amazing was Janets rendition of Under The Bridge? I can't believe the judges didn't go crazy for it:conf: Am I alone in thinking it was fantastic? Best performance of the series imo.

Atleast someone agrees with me then! I ****ing love the Chili Peppers and I would be hugely critical of anyone doing one of their songs, even if it was one of my favourites in X Factor but I seriously thought she nailed it.

Janet's second performance was one of her best, it was good to hear her do something a bit different. Giving her mmmbop was a ridiculous idea, it's really hard to sing (that said, she clearly could have rehearsed more!) I don't imagine her under the bridge will save her now, but it was a decent performance.

If it was still a 1 song week and Under The Bridge was her song she would be in with a chance of winning it. As it is, i do agree you can't miss the words twice so I think she could have had it. She doesn't really deserve to win the competition, but she is still my fave to come out from this years show.

I hope she gets a recording deal and not with Syco. She is a songwriter and actually could do well getting into a rock band as lead singer.

Louis said he doesn't like the song. Firstly it's heroes theme so it's a void point, secondly it's one of the best frigging songs ever.

Kelly actually was nice last night. Her and Janet must have made up but Janet has also been praising Kelly in the media.

Janet has a lot of talent but it's very hit and miss, she really needed a better mentor than Kelly has been imo. I think she's finding it difficult to cope with the pressure she seems quite a reserved shy and quiet girl really.

I think you're right there MX, Janet seems to me to need a lot of creative licence and a lot less pressure on her shoulders to flourish

He's good at the up tempo songs but I felt the second song exposed him, he's far from the strongest singer and I think he'd kind of fail as a recording artist since he's more about the performances. I like him but I think he deserves to be in the bottom two alongside Janet.

I don't think there has been an actual stand out, wow performance this year....but the performance which changed everything in terms of audience support is Little Mix E.T

I honestly think that if Janet is bottom 2, she is gone, regardless of who she's up against. She was given a difficult fast song deliberately because they knew she's prone to forgetting words on fast songs, and they want her out. Probably because she's too talented in other respects (songwriting, instruments etc) and doesn't need to win this competition. Plus she's made it quite clear she doesn't want to be the Syco puppet that the winners are always turned into (respect to her for that!) So I think she'll go tonight, unless she miraculously scrapes the top 3 somehow!
