Ouch  Not looking good for their future. How long until they're dropped?

Didn't even know they had a new album out. This is why they should've had a performance slot on The X Factor.

Not surprised. It's dreadful. They won't beat Wordshaker. That album had lots of potential hits and then they released 2 songs off it and moved on to Headlines.

Not enough promotion I think. I'm a big Saturdays fan and didn't even know their new album was released yet, I haven't seen any adverts or anything. And they really were denied a performance on The X Factor.

Your probably right Mollie as I was expecting number 1 or 2 for them.

It's because they're ****e! I firmly stand by my opinion that they are only remotely successful because they're the only girl band around. They are the definition of average, mediocre, faceless pop. I enjoy their music, to be entirely fair to them, but I also really hate them for what they represent. I think a lot of it stems from the fact that Frankie and Rochelle are fame hungry morons. Mollie isn't much better, going by her two failed auditions for the X Factor. The only ones who I have any respect for, musically (and that's not saying much) are Una and Vanessa. Una's way older than the rest of them and, unfortunately, that only adds to the overall ridiculous image. Vanessa, the one who can actually sing, is very rapidly losing her voice. She can't sing nearly as well as she used to, her voice is cracking all the time and it's been extremely obvious in every live performance I've seen them do recently. Frankie's not been appearing with them for god knows what reason recently, and it's not like she's been missed. What's the point in a girl band who are carried by one lead singer (who can no longer sing) and four harmony singers in the background? I could actually rant about them forever. They got noticed because they had two of the S Club Juniors girls and due to a lack of competition, they're still churning out average tunes to average sales. There's no personality there to get to know. If you look at other successful girl groups, the element of personality has always been important - Spice Girls (in your face with the girl power thing), Girls Aloud (came from a reality TV show), Sugababes (moody)... what do The Saturdays have? Not one interesting personality (in terms of media interest) between them. They date popstars and sports players and they're just completely, utterly, pointless.

The only single from their new album I like is All Fired Up and thats only mildly at best, so.

They're just quite boring tbh. I couldn't care less if they faded back into obscurity. :idc:
