It's annoying if mods appear offline, if a thread goes way offtopic and there's no specific post to report, how are you meant to get them to close it, you don't know whose online to pm :nono:

I always appeared online when I was a mod. :nono:


But I don't get why it bothers people. If something is wrong then you can report it via the report button and it will be sorted. If you have further queries you go to appeals and then someone there will answer you. You don't need to see them online for that.

Then I started appearing online again, but I got a PM from someone...I was running a bath and pottering about...came back down to 2 PMs. The original one and one calling me an ignorant bitch and threatening to report me to admin for ignoring mod duties or something daft like that.

Nah I used to always appear offline until quite recently, I did it as a member because there's always someone looking at Who's Online (Arista :suspect:) and if I by chance ventured into a questionable thread it might bring me into disrepute :nono:
