Better than that.....if the Controversy thread isn't allowed, it will be thanks to the very ones on here who are jumping down my neck - rather than me.
Seeing as many are saying on this thread they are having difficulty in being able to select people they want to comment about -from the list of those who agreed....... it would seem that it will be less contraversial than some maybe wanted it to be.

Hindsight is a great thing... but I wouldn't have included an opt out option in the poll, just an opt in one, that way people aren't being singled out for opting out of it.

That's true, but then there's no need to vote "no" if you don't want to take part; just don't vote at all, only those vote "yes" are being included if this goes ahead I believe

I've never tried a one poll option on here (though I 'think' I recall when I've done polls here, it does allow a 'one' poll option... even if there wasn't though: the easy way to have done it was:

Who's game. Stick your name down here only if you wish to be included.
The problem with this thread / poll is that it was worded quite specifically as to who would not be willing... and thus, was raised in such a way that those emphatically not wishing to be included should confirm by clicking No .... see part of OP below.
By clicking "No" you will not be able to be voted for. Only those who click "yes" would be able.
Maybe lock this thread and leave it up to the towers to decide, all this onsite arguing about it surely can't be helping.
That's not a bad idea, only thing is it will close the poll but pretty much everyone that's going to vote will have done so by now anyway :guess

Anyway I think I'm going to take InOne's advice and lock this for now, it isn't serving much purpose to keep it open while we're still waiting for an answer
