I watched again, it makes more sense that it was a suicide attempt? She has the big wound and in the prelude she says the girl asked for gummy bears and a knife, and that she wished they'd only given her the gummy bears?

It's about the day she was dropped from her record label (when she was talking on the phone in bed), she had a breakdown, hence all the smashing and cheerio's, then she was in the clinic recovering and she decides that she won't give up, the ballet scenes of her by herself are of her trying to perfect her art, then when she's on the floor and grabbing at the legs of the other ones, it' because she's been dropped and she wants to know what she needs to do to be like them, she dies her hair blonde and practices everything (the dance scenes & piano) and then at the end when she's getting into the car she's going to interscope for a meeting or w/e and she makes it

Once it gets going its good, but its this whole 8 minutes of rubbish at the start that ruins it. At least with Telephone it was long but the music was broken up, this one is just 8 minutes of weird stuff then the song at long last til the end
