I'm assuming C5 is going to go out of it's way to avoid the Olympics as it will have a negative impact on its ratings. C4 tended to start their launch nights in May or June. The Olympics are from late July to mid August. Is it safe to assume C5 will follow how C4 did it by launching May/June, thus avoiding the Olympics or do you think they will wait until August to launch the show after the Olympics?

I'm just trying to plan a trip to the UK so that I can attend an eviction and/or be in the audience on BOTS. Furthermore, is it normally pretty easy to get tickets to either one of them? I don't want to plan this huge holiday only to have my soul crushed by not being able to attend the main reason in me taking a vacation there in the first place.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Oh god, this year there was too much on TV due to it being on so late in the year, and next year the olympics. The ratings will most likely be appalling.

Don't forget the Euro 2012 tournament will begin on 8 June in Warsaw (Poland) with the final being played on 1 July in Kiev (Ukraine).

I think if bb is on at 10pm then it will be fine, im sure the olympics wont be on all day and night, frankly everyone seems to be so anti london 2012, I doubt it will get spectacular ratings except for the opening ceremony.

I couldn't give a sh*t about the Olympics & I'm sure many others are the same, so I don't see how it will be a problem really...

Didn't think about BB13 colliding with the Olympics and the Euros. Guess it'll probably be another Autumn/Winter Big Brother then.

Having a 7 or 8 month break after CBB would probably be a smart move anyway. There will have been about 4 months worth of Big Brother in just a 6 month period by the end of this next series.

I'd watch the Olympics and Euro 2012 over BB but hopefully it isn't a problem
