Took my kids to the Christmas light switch on tonight and we met Brian Belo,LOL,he was lovely and the kids loved him,he had pics taken with them, although he was running late ,he made time for them, best part for me was he was dressed as Santa!!!lol, his trousers were too small for him, which added to the funniness of it all,was surprised at how big he is in real life,a good night was had by all.Nice bloke.

I've always imagined he'd be a nice chap, and particularly good that he was nice to the kids. Was that near you? I've probably mentioned I have family in Ironbridge, which probably makes you an I cousins or something.

Livia they're not far from me at all,I am in Newport,he was in one of the shops here and was due to leave, but he called my daughter over and stopped to have pics with her and my little boy too,he was lovely,I always dismissed him as being a bit daft,LOL,just shows how wrong you can be about people,My daughter was really excited as she had a pic with someone 'famous' lol bless her, she's just about old enough to understand he won BB,Great you have family so near,we visit Blists Hill museum quite a lot too.love it there ,Ironbridge is a lovely place.

That's so nice for your little girl. I think it's the mark of someone when they take time for people like that... especially kids.

Ironbridge is lovely, although a nightmare to get to from where I live. Blists Hill holds some very happy memories for me, it's a fascinating place.

Small world, eh? Although I wouldn't want to paint it.

Who knows, stranger things have happened! And yes, Blists Hill... everyone should go. Although not while I'm visiting, obviously.
