I love snow, but prefer it for just Christmas, as it effects the roads too much, especially when it starts to get slushy and/or icy for those who still have to get to and from work. Would be nice I suppose to see it snow Christmas eve for that real Christmas feel to it, and also maybe New Years eve. Doubt it will though :(

It was exactly like that this time last year in Cumbria (and far worse here in this part of Scotland) - I remember as I'd to travel down to East Midlands and was furious that I was still expected to do the journey given the weather conditions.

I made it, only to have the 3 days course abandoned half way into it..... and had the delightful job of driving all way flipping way back through even worse conditions.

Lesson learned there was: work were politely told to ram it next time.

Possibly because when it is snowing, the sky turns a light colour.... it's currently a nice light grey/pinky colour, shall I post a picture to prove it?
