I don't think it's fair.

But this show isn't ever fair, so I'm not surprised.

No. The public voted for her to return (everyone could have not voted for anyone), and she got voted fairly from then on.

Two weeks ago I would have said yes, after last nights performances though, I would have to say she totally deserves to be in the final.

I guess I was wrong to moan at her return when in fact nothing was her fault,it was Kelly's short sightedness and bad decision that robbed Amelia of all the previous weeks performances.

Yes.

To top it all off, she's not even that good.

Do you really believe that though? Just how fair was it?

The X Factor was hit by fix claims after the news that Amelia Lily was to return to the show appeared online before the phone poll closed and before Dermot O'Leary announced that she had been voted back into the competition.

The piece even went as far as to describe mentor Kelly Rowland's reaction to the news.

Expect her to win!

And the public vote that put her into the bottom two, Joey.

The only reason she was in the bottom two was because she was given a weird song choice.

Anyway no its not unfair, its unfair that Little Mix can forget there words and basically be the worst on the night and yet still goes through and hardly anybody mentioning about them forgetting there words, instead we get excuses like she only forgot a short part of it.

No it is not unfair. She fully deserves her place.

Little Mix on the other hand, do not deserve to be there. They are a very average, highly unpolished act, even after all these extra weeks that Amelia didn't have the benefit of experience from: and still she outshone the group,.

Again I would put that down in the main to Kelly's bad judgement as to the song choice.

Ok, that's a fair comment that I can't argue with. My point is though, was is it fair that she returned?

It totally is fair but it would not be a win for Kelly if Amelia comes first becaue she made the wrong choice in week one.

Agreed, but it shouldn't be about a win for the judges, they've already made it in their own right.

No, and she should have never been sent home first week, it should've been Sophie. She wipes the floor with all the other finalists.

Don't care. It's been a farce from beginning to end anyway. I'm half expecting another bloody twist

No, I didn't agree with bringing an act back, certainly not the way they did too..

I do think it's unfair, but it's not her fault either so I don't begrudge her it. I think If Kelly had kept her in first day she'd probably have went around the same time Sophie did.

Jordan.
05-12-2011, 12:09 PM
Well she can get more votes than semi finalists despite missing half the competition, so yeah that proves she deserves to be there.

To begin with I thought it was wrong she entered back... she had skipped past 4 weeks, became a fresh face and a lot of hype surrounded her about it.

But it works the other way around too... people have found set favourites by then (evidently why she was in the B2 a week after her return). But also she has the TALENT, and a lot of people thought Kelly made the wrong decision anyway sending her home way back in Week 1.

Its very questionable if people would have got bored of her week in week out, but Criag, Janet and Misha have all left before her, all considered great talent, so yes why not?

She probably would have been in the final anyway (she was voted off as the favourite to win). shes been in the competition longer than Sophie and only 2 weeks less than Janet

If she wins with a mentor who first got rid of her and then showed preference to Misha B, the main judge Gary trying to undermine her with shouting claims and rubbishing any suggestions that she might actually be the best (Louis' claim); I reckon she will be 100% deserving. Last year we got Matt crowned before we had even completed the auditions by the fans and the panel.

Thank God for Louis and Brian Adams seeing the greatness.

It wouldn't have been a fix, but a leakage.

Although she's my least favourite of the 3 left, you do make some good points there.

It's unfair that she hasn't got a guaranteed win. Which she would of had, had she not been Eliminated week 1.

It's not her fault she was once there and then wasn't and now is but it is unfair and it would have been unfair for whoever got back in. It's a silly decision by the producers of the show tbh

Hmm not sure about that! But each to there own  I think the public would have gone off her like they did with the other girls, Janet and Misha

Sophie was the best girl anyways Lol. I dont mind who wins out of Amelia/Little Mix, my mind changes constantly. I just think if she was there from the start she would have more fans, and a greater chance of winning.

As i said though, Misha was the least popular girl & shouldn't go through in week 1. Everyone said Sophie was the least popular, even though Sophie & Misha were in the bottom 2 week 4, when Sophie had no airtime in the competition, a bad week in the show. Whilst Misha didn't have thoose, Proving that Misha was less popular than Sophie as I had predicted:)

Not her fault, and she should have been picked ahead of Sophie as I said weeks ago. BUT she has missed 5 weeks of possible criticism. Walsh has fallen in love with her, (jettisoning janet in the process) and it seems its the 'new girl' syndrome....you know, people tiring of seeing Janet or Misha b each week, so lets have the new one instead. She has PERFORMED WELL THOUGH....

Maybe because Misha is more talented and their judge knew this??

Besides Misha was third fave to win before the bully claims.

I think Marcus will have a career whether he wins or not, so in that respect I would be happy to see either Amelia or Little Mix win.

Marcus is my absolute favourite though.

It is fair, and I bet she sells albums after this whatever, and that is what it is really all about....isn't it?
