She has taken a fairly average girl band and taken them to the final of the series. She marketed them perfectly as the "Girls that won't take your boyfriend" which is really code for the fact they aren't the most attractive girl band you would see therefore still gaining the votes from females where previous ones have failed.

Everyone thought The Risk would do it for her if anyone, but she's worked wonders with them.

I know alot of you would say how great they are and it has nothing to do with what I said but chances are they would of been out in week 1 if they were sexy big breasted females who sang and performed the exact same way:joker:.

Definitely all of this - but also through other acts misfiring while they've been consistent, the fact there's been no eye candy, so teenage girl votes are going elsewhere, and the fact that they've had very sensible song choices (Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Beyonce...)

I dont know about week 1 but I dont think they would have made the final if the female voters was jealous of there looks.

How about it being about talent and not looks?

If it was on talent then Sophie,Misha and Kitty would have all beat Little Mix imo.

It's good when people focus on talent

I definitely think that's part of it, also I think the fact that it hasn't been a particularly strong year in terms of talent would have helped too.

The ONLY act to improve as the show has gone on is LITTLE MIX.
People love that, its a sign of hard work and passion.

They are great young girls, decent voices with good chemistry between them. Its evident they have a lot of potential and people seem to want to give them the chance.

You do not need to be at your very best to win, that is something you can strive to work towards as your career moves forward into producing albums and touring.

Tulisa also is a big part to their success. She has put a lot of effort into them, marketed them right with good song choices. And its clear she is very close to them and will follow them after the show.

Best Girl Group from TXF ever.

The first time a girlband isn't mentored by Simon or Louis is the first time they make the final. Coincidence?

Louis mentored the most successful group to date to be fair to him, The group that should of been the first to win X Factor aswell but Alexandra did instead :|.

He mentored G4 before them and is still Jedwards manager. As far as males are concerned he's a great mentor, the producers like to portray him as clueless but he knows exactly what he is doing. But as far as girls go, his track record isn't great and I don't think he's ever had a successful girlgroup (he was even sacked by Girls Aloud). Simon is the same, he even rejected the Spice Girls saying they'd never make it.

They would never have given Cheryl anything other than the Girls or the Boys because they wanted her to be seen as the golden girl, and Dannii would have been clueless with groups, hence why neither of them ever had the groups category IMO.

I just don't think Little Mix have what it takes to make it.

I disagree, there is a huge space for a new girl group in the market right now. They all have pretty good voices and are far better than their biggest rival The Saturdays. I think they're going to be really successful after this.

I think once the hype of a new girlband dies off, they will flop hard.

Little Mix will have no longevity I think. At the most they will have a 1D style smash debut but I doubt they will be able to follow it up then.

Girls Aloud are back next year, Pussycat Dolls are getting a new line up (which could go either way) and Sugababes have a new album out (probably with another line up) so it will be quite hard for a new girlband to break through and keep themselves at the top. I think they'll get good success at first but jury is out on whether they can sustain it.
