I'm very skint this year. I normally spend astronomical prices. Got my folks a fire basket.

I was going to get a Chiminea but ma wanted a pit or basket. Got family coming over later this month so will be nice for them

I thought the aim of Christmas was to get other people gifts Roy? :joker:

I've not got my parents anything yet, I just give a fiver to my Brother and he buys them what he'd get and then put's my name on the tag.

For daughter so far - hair straighteners, Mario Kart with wheel for the Wii and a TV/DVD to come aswell as books etc

Stuck for something to buy my best mate

Agreement with the rest of friends/family to just exchange cards. It's too expensive. Too many of them!

Younger brother - two Xbox games
Older brother - a Nivea gift set
Mum - two Olay moisturising creams that she asked for, and some socks
Niece - haven't bought yet, but am taking her clothes shopping when I get home

I'm only buying my mum a present, no one else is worthy. I'm either getting her Amy Winehouses album or Noel Gallaghers.

I have friends (mostly male) who shop on Christmas Eve - and I take my hat off to anyone who does - there's NO way I could suffer the crowds and the last minute panic buying.

I hate going out on Christmas Eve but I'm always sent out for silly things that've been forgotten like tin foil or wrapping paper

Get someone to put one of your legs in plaster, then they'll have to ask someone else to do the last minute run around - they have a miraculous recovery at the strike of Midnight.
