Shabby has scored a job in HMV on Oxford St, my friend bumped into her wearing a HMV uniform!!

Even though she was a total bitch, I do give credit to her for going out and getting a proper job rather than clutching at every last ounce of fame like some of the HM's do.

Good point, even better point is that she has got up off her arse, gone out and got a job and isn't relying on state handouts - so between 'acting jobs or gigs', at least she's out earning by whatever means she's been able to.

Good on her, although she used to scrounge and squat in homes didn't she? So the job could be to help as it is running up to Christmas? There again we are lauding her for what masses of people do every day, get off their backsides and look for a job :D

It pisses me off when people in the media slate/laugh at ex housemates for going back to a proper job and seeing them as a failure but then also slate them for clutching on to fame if they dont.

They cant win.

True, but to be fair to her, at least she did go out and take such a job that many would consider beneath them - and who prefer to sit at home, happy to take state handouts.
