Nirvana will scrape it over Little Mix's second week sales

I've got a feeling Nirvana will... there seems to be a big enough campaign this year and it's already a well-loved song that hasn't been in the charts too recently.

Is it their track 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' or is it something a little less known from them?

Shaun

yeah SLTS. Not my favourite of theirs but it's understandable since it stands the best chance.

I do love that song though, I remember it playing on the radio when I was a kid. Would be good to see it back in the charts.

A Xmas song should be Xmas #1

A Xmas song should be Xmas #1

I agree with this - I'd like a campaign one year where an actual Christmas song is championed, only then I might support it.

It'd be funny to see a campaign to get Steve Brookstein's winner's single to Christmas #1 though, just to hit back at Simon. He never actually got Christmas #1 in his year either :joker:

A Xmas song should be Xmas #1

the same logic could also dictate that an Easter song should be Easter #1

Anything is better than another X Factor act getting it. :idc:

I wish these FB campaignes would pick more christmassy songs :l I was watching a christmas hits show on Viva last week and Rage Against The Machine were on there :bored:

Rage Against The Machine were ****,how they beat Joe to christmas number 1 a couple of years ago is beyond me.

Answer to the OP I think Little Mix or Leona will be number 1.

I don't like RATM but their song was a lot better than Joe's Disney ****.

I supported last years too but this year I haven't bothered (because I like the winner). I want Mariah Carey #1 :joker:

the same logic could also dictate that an Easter song should be Easter #1

Which is stupid because Xmas is a much more celebrated tradition and not many songs (if any) are released. So yeah... good one...
