For me, if the prize money was £500K upwards (quoted before BB12) I'd audition.
What would be your amount?

The money wouldn't matter.
Not because I wouldn't want it, but because I'd have no chance of winning it so I wouldn't go in and delusionally think I'd have a chance of getting it.

You've got to think you'll win. And then try to. Aaron, Alex and Josie blatantly did!

Josie would have been an idiot not to think she was in with a huge chance. And Aaron must have known he'd had a chance too after being saved first so many times (though I think he was genuinely not expecting to triumph).
But if someone like Aden or Maisy thought they could win, they'd be nuts! There's only about 20% of HMs every year who could ever realistically win, so if you're not in that group, you shouldn't go in to try to win.

I would pay to go on it. Plus I would be one of the most hated HMs of all time probably and would have zero chance of winning.

I wouldn't care about the money, what so ever.
Like people say, it is a life changing experiance, and even to enter the house would be like winning for me.

the money wouldn't really be important to me. I'd see it more as bonus if I were to win.
If I were to go on a TV show primarily for the prize money than it wouldn't be BB
£0
Being a housemate in the best house in the world would be the prize for me x

I would do the show for free tomorrow if asked. If I were to win the money that'd be a bonus, but it wouldn't be the most important thing in a show like Big Brother.

No amount of money would make me audition for big brother, i'd rather eat my own eyelids
I might audition if it was 0-30K, less wannabes.

I would go on it for €0.
I would just want to be on my favourite TV show.
But obviously the cost of auditioning would be like €300 (travel, etc) and if i got in id miss my exams which would basically **** up the rest of my life.
But if i got the offer to go in, i think i probably would.

do you really think you can just walk into bigbrother!,
aaron auditioned for many years before getting in,
pete bennett auditioned for five years before getting in,
so it dont matter if the prize money was a hundred billion,
you should only audition for the experience!,the odds for getting on big brother is 4,500 to one.

Isnt being on the best ever reality show enough :)?
Isnt being on the best ever reality show enough :)?
Really could be great if the majority of housemates they picked thought like that, the experience alone should be a big part of it & not just treated like an audition or job like some ex hms have said since leaving.

I would NEVER want to be on BB, even if they handed me £1,000,000 just to go through the doors...

Anyone who makes the cut and enters the house ought to get a minimum £10K.
Obviously the money would be delightful, maybe 50k or something, to cover losing my job and stuff which would inevitably happen and then a holiday afterward and a car?
But I would love to go in the house and if it meant not winning any money then I wouldn't think twice, I'd go in

500 grand sounds tempting. I would be more desperate to win if the prize fund was at half a million as appose to 100 grand.

No! They get publicity and a bit of money when they come out of the house anyway.
I would like another money game for BB13 though. A little twist with the money!

but you can just take a week of work as your only be in the house for 1 week :hmph:

It would have to be £squillions$ for me to enter the dignity-stripping freak show!!
But even if I could get in, and thought that I was in with a chance of winning....I think that I would probably give it a swerve...because I couldn't trust the plonkers that produce the show to tamper with the DOSH and i'd end up with peanuts!! :nono:

There isn't enough money in the world to get me in there.

Beastie, they publicity is nearly always negative. The money is never excessive and does not compensate for a loss of privacy, one more over that can never be regained.

It's the housemates choice to go into Big Brother in the first place. If you can't deal with the backlash don't go in.
I do agree though that the winner should get 100 grand. But there should be another 100 grand which has to be played for. Like some kind of twist like what happened in BB12.
A few people have made more than a million after BB such as Chanelle Hayes, Samanda and Chantelle. Oh and of course JADE GOODY.
Not sure if Louise and Jay have got any deals yet? Think they have been in the odd magazine but not heard much from them.
