"TimeWarner
has submitted a second takeover bid for Endemol,
the debt-laden producer of Big Brother
and Deal Or No Deal, with a sweetened offer of €1bn in cash.
In November, Time Warner tabled a speculative €1bn (£858m)
offer with elements of cash and debt,
which was rebuffed by the company which
is in the final stages of agreeing a protracted
restructuring of €2.8bn debt.
Endemol,has a deadline of Tuesday
to hammer out an agreement before
it has to roll over its agreement with creditors on Tuesday.
Its lenders have all but rejected the latest offer."
Endemol has to make its mind up.
Its so simple now it's all on the table.

Compleate Dogs, they should have kept WCW and history would have been better for all :bawling:

At that time Illegal drugs being used
destroyed WCW's chance.
Time Warner had no choice, way back then.

Uh I posted something like this in the International BB thread a little while back.
Anyway This Could also affect the american version as well. I mean it could change channels or have a big format change.
*edit* actually every version

Fingers crossed it causes a major overhaul of the show.
It will never be like channel 4 BB heyday again, I've got used to that but it's got potential to be better than the crap they put out in BB12.

Hopefully they'll make channel 5 have LF and hopefully for my main version the us version. They make the us house have a layout change (Same house layout for last 8 seasons) and fire the head producer. She has run out of fresh ideas.
I get a bad feeling about this! :cloud:
Cheers.

Lets just hope that they can make CBB9 and BB13 better than CBB8 and BB12,anything else is a bonus.

One of my buddies on twitter said that Endemol turned down the offer and extended the loan to feb a deal better be made soon or else once Endemol files for bankruptcy there could be no bb at all for anyone anywhere as in the whole franchise is shut down.

I heard that C5 HAD to buy BB in a two for one offer. All they wanted was Celebrity BB. Ratings have been dire, legally they must show BB13 but after last years crap, the poor production decisions by Cam de la Hue*** et al, the show will be put out of it's misery. A pity as it could have made innovations and carried on, albeit with less steam.

It may be a blessing in disguise. The show should never have come back so soon.
I mean CBB is back again in less than 3 weeks, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's sick of it.
