Lots happened around in the world in 2011.
What do you consider to some of the Best and Worst moments?
Japan's Tsunami one of the worst
The World finally being rid of Osama Bin Laden one of the best.
The best:
England destroying the Aussies on their own soil in the Ashes
The Arab Spring even though none of them have been that successful
The Royal Wedding - didn't actually watch it, but remember it being a quality day having the Friday off
The worst:
Yeah probably the Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami/nuclear disaster
All the economic problems with the Eurozone and elsewhere

There've been many bad things. The collapse of loads of economies (Greece in particular), Norway shootings, UK riots, Japanese tsunami, deaths of Steve Jobs, Amy Winehouse and Gary Speed...
but then the deposition of people like Gadaffi, bin Laden, Mubarrak has been quite exciting.
Personally it's been a fantastic year though. Got into university, have had an amazing time so far and met some hilarious, lovely people, and got some of my reviews published on loads of music websites :)

There have been a great many things -
The Royal Wedding did bring a lot of good feel to the UK - after all, we had Pippa's bum !!
Norway, I'd forgotten about that.
The Ash cloud that caused mayhem in April! So many poor sods stranded with no money etc.

Oh, so there was
Big famine in Africa as well, in terms of news stories I'd say the bad ones far outweigh the good this year

The story recently about the 1 month old baby - that turned my stomach inside out. :(
(which reminds me, I've not read how the wee fella got on - if he pulled through?) :conf:
