EDWARD are lined up for a return to Celebrity Big Brother in the new year.

The X Factor twins proved such a hit last summer that TV bosses want them back.

They had been the bookies’ faves to win, but were beaten by 52- year-old gypsy Paddy Doherty.

John and Edward Grimes, 20, teased that Big Brother chiefs wanted them back because they livened up the place.

John said: “Big Brother wants us back in January just to make the show work. We made an impact.”

CBB is back on Channel 5 on January 5.

A show source said: “We can’t say too much but fans won’t be disappointed.”

TV adverts for CBB 2012 went out last night featuring host Brian Dowling, 33, and ex-CBB stars Amy Childs, 21, Kerry Katona, 31, and Jedward as angels.

Celebrities tipped for the new show include Natasha Giggs, 29, and shamed X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza, 18.

A Channel 5 spokesman said: “Big Brother executives are in talks with a number of celebrities.”

Well by the looks of things they have changed nothing so I wont be surprised if they have the same housemates, same house and same ******ing tittles... :bored:

Someone posted this on Digital Spy.

During the CBB run, workaholics Jedward will be busy with the end of their panto and the beginning of their European tour. But they do have about four days free in between - enough time to come to CBB for a couple of days to set a task for the housemates, perhaps?


Doesn't look like they'll be housemates then.

This was said a short time after the last CBB ended. I am defintaely in the minority as to it but I'd be happy if they did, I would keep off this forum though,I was worn out when CBB was last on.Looking forward much more to them doing the Eurovision song contest again.

I really rate them though, so for me anytime they are on TV is good viewing. A great escape from the run of the mill heavy days I often have and they really cheer me up,entertain and make me laugh.

Wouldn't shock me if they did make an appearance, but surely not as housemates again. Really couldn't stand watching the Jedward show again :sleep:

Totally agree.
Without them last time, the whole series would have been overall very boring.
They really were 'the' presence in the house and not a foul word or false romance in sight either.

It's meant to be Celebrity Big Brother; not the Jedward show ...... if they are there for more than one day as a special appearance: Ch5 may as well just show the repeats of the last CBB show.
