Whenever Nikki attempts to mock Richard's accent (and I agree that he's a rather plain-looking dickhead, but no one's perfect), she adopts this ridiculous California crossed with Topanga Canyon and Valley girl accent. Hello, you idiot. Richard's from Canada. He's not from the US, let alone California. Has this grotesque, stunted ogre never been abroad. Is her world that limited? Jeez.

Er...not if you've got ears it isn't. I'm neither Canadian nor American, and I can tell the difference. It's all a matter of caring enough to listen. If you listen, genuinely listen, you know the difference. Some people listen, and I guess some people just hear. I'm glad to be a listener.

..well , listen to this: My Auntie is Canadian, and she is constantly telling us she gets mistaken for an American.

..Just pray that Rooney gets on for 10 minutes this afternoon to sharpen up his fitness for the latter stages.

I'm sure that happens, but I'm equally sure that the people who mistake her nationality are dolts, idiots, and insular morons. I have sensitive friends - they invariably know the difference between English, Scots, Welsh and Irish accents. And then I have thick-skinned, insensitive, doltish and intellectually sub-normal friends (bless them). They invariably can't tell the difference when they hear these accents.

And as football fans pay the players wages, and we devote so much time and effort into supporting the team. It certainly gives us the right to think of the team as "we"

When I cheer on Scotland, am i not scottish? Part of a nation, so yes, I can say "we"

Yeah, Clotranes. What a winker you are. Because people can't tell the difference between Canadian and American that means they are idiots? Quite clearly the only idiots are those who like Grace.

Listen to Dan Ackroyd. He's Canadian. Sounds bloody American to anyone.

You would be forgiven for thinking Donald Southerland was English.
