Haha, we have a gold star which has been covered in red paper so it matches the rest of the tree.

A star that came with the tree. A star doesn't feel right though, always grown up with a fairy on the tree. My mums got a lopsided fairy from 1983 (ie my brothers first christmas). Its hilariously bad and tacky on quite a classy looking tree but christmas at hers would have never been the same :joker:

Phew...finally have the tree up and trimmed..I have a star which has sat on top for years and someone bought me a beautiful angel last year which I wanted to use...decisions.......the angel is kind of crucified to the star atm..but at least everyone's happy....except maybe the angel..
