This
And standing on one of the needles with bare feet is the worst thing ever.

Real look hideous and are a mess to clean up. Fake are beautiful and cheaper

Fake. Real trees are a pain in the arse, horrible to watch slowly die in your living room over christmas and only last for one

Real for the first year. We already regret it. :p

Yes, my god it hurts.
Never again after this year. As nice as it looks. Far too much effort. :joker:

Fake but people always assume it's real because it does look exactly like a real pine tree. I prefer fake though, can't be dealing with them horrible pine leaves everywhere.

We have a fake tree. I've always wanted a real one but we don't really have the space for it (the fake one barely fits into our front room :conf2:).

Always a real one at home.
My Mum has a very big folded piece of polythene which she has on the bottom of the tree, then on January 6th all she has to do is pull the polythene up over the tree and tie it together so no bother with the needles, they all get caught in the polythene and drop onto the polythene through the Christmas period.
Then they are shaken out of the polythene outside and it's ready for use again next year.
I love the smell of the real tree anyway.
