The 21st December is the shortest day of the year usually.
Edit: Oh wait, I just seen that it can shift between 21st - 23rd December. I never knew that.
But it means the days will be getting lighter again! :amazed:

I don't mind the first part in the run up to Christmas and New Year but I hate it from mid-Jan until end of February when its still dark and cold. Depresses the life out of me
