:amazed:

Now that the shortest day has arrived the days will start getting longer and it means summer will start creeping back in (after a few months of cold, wet and depressing weather that is still to come).

This Thread is Crazy.

By that time we could be in WW3.

Then the title will be
Run to the Hills - There Is No God.

No point in running to the hills........ the bombs will hit higher ground first.

Come on Arista - you know that!

There is a God btw - it's a female and she sells cheap baccy on the Continent. :D

Winter with the heating on/loads of clothes > Summer being boiling hot and not being able to do anything about it

Both have their benefits.

Dark cosy nights, heating on, scented candles flickering - Christmas tunes playing the background - even better if it's freezing cold outside - pot of homemade soup on the hob.

Summer heat, breezes through windows: fresh healthy salads, cool beers sitting relaxing in the garden, listening the the birds tweeting away: watching the cat play with little flies.

Not too fond of it either :( But just to be awkward now, when June 21st arrives again, I will be counting down to Christmas 2012 methinks :joker:

Winter's cosier but there's a lot more to do in Summer, daylight until about 9 o clock, warm weather, Pub gardens, cricket season, and just generally relaxing outside and doing nothing. When it's winter the only thing I ever really feel like doing is sitting by the fire and watching telly
