Mine actually depends on the situation.

My favourite family game? Kaplunk. Just because it's a classic and always will be.

More hardcore game session? Maybe one of the older Lord of The Rings or possibly Game of Thrones.

Favourite general game? Monopoly... of course! Just wish I could master it.

Yesterday my family all sat down to attempt to play this game called articulate. Its like Taboo but completely overcomplicated and it took us 20 minutes of shouting to sort out how to play it alone. :bored:

This :amazed:

Though I have to say, I got over excited 2 Christmases ago (was slightly tipsy also) and called my moms partner a s**tbag during a heated game of Taboo, It was in jest but he wasn't too impressed :/

Taboo can get really frustrating though I suppose. Some of the words are so flipping hard.

Amazing game!!!!

It was stupidly complicated. :suspect:

Monopoly. Trying to set it up and find all the pieces is like a family bonding experience in and of itself.

I don't consider that tosh part of the Monopoly canon. I loath those themed boards too.

It's classic or bust. And it's not boring. It's insiduous in it's rivetingness. A bit like Snooker.

Someone bought one of the kids Twister last night... obviously after a few drinks the adults took over it. Me and the future mother in law were the last 2 standing. Ended up in some positions that would make a porn star feel awkard

I always hated monopoly because it just goes on forever and ever, and I go into a mood if I don't get Park Lane & Mayfair

I like Cluedo but you have to think, and we had the Countdown game a few years back which was a good laugh. I wanted the Million Pound Drop game this year but I can't exactly buy that for myself

Park Lane and Mayfair are crap. The chance of people landing on those are slim. The better options to secure a win are the red and yellow properties if you own all 3 on each. ;)

The original is better than the electronic banking, that's laziness. Half the fun is trying to give people change and writing IOU's on paper when you can't give them the money :joker:

I never get Mayfair, I go for the pinks and oranges. People going to jail will likely land on them and they're hard to miss.
