I don't think you'll hear for a while - I applied last year and they didn't get back to me for about 2 weeks afterwards. You're more likely to hear something once they've sorted out the audition venues.

(Don't plan on applying this year though so good luck!)

they must have 100's of videos to look through, we've already had lots on here.

Callbacks have started o_O

Doesn't really mean much though, except saving you a bit of queuing time

They may not be done yet, I just know they have started this week :)

But doesn't really matter if you don't get one; it's better to impress them in person than with a fancy video!

Yeah ive heard a few say they got fast tracked, met the producers for about 2mins and that was the end of it!!! so their videos were pretty pointless really!!

people who are saying they've already been fast tracked and met the producers - i'm fairly certain they're lying.

the fast track date for each venue is usually the day before the open auditions begin for that venue, I'm guessing they'll call people in the order of which venue they'll be seen at. So people closer to cardiff will be phoned first etc as they will need longer notice. next week manchester, week after London etc etc.

Yeah I went to the open audition in london last year and my friend had a "fast track" thing and i didnt, but it literally meant she was 5-10 minutes ahead of me and that was it. and in the end she got sent home after her 2 minutes where i had a few more stages. not that it matters how far you get if you don't actually get in the door but u know what i mean.

do they tell you even if you don't get in?

Nope.
I had a few callbacks and then just didn't get another phone call after one of them it was that simple.

God it sounds like such a horrible process. :bawling:

ah, it's all part of the "fun" i guess.
i'm pretty sure they know exactly who they want from once theyve had that first proper diary room chat. or at least the majority, and then the other stages are just to pick a couple of others

Best to be fast tracked. Rather than queing up at round 1 at the picking pens. Best skip to round 2 and do a mini questionnaire and an interview! Then if you pass that it's the massive 80 odd page questionnaire and proper diary room stage.

that 80 odd page thing i remember them handing "just to make you aware this will take a couple of hours to fill in" which i was like "yeah course alright" and they were ****ing right. its LONG.
