Each will start with 12 people

after the battle round 6 will remain.

I don't know how the live shows will work. But I would like for it to go like this

3 are eliminated from each team, the top 2 move on to the top 12 and one artist will be selected by the coach

Then from there top 12 -> 10 -> 8 -> 7 -> 6 -> 5 -> 4 or 12 -> 10 -> 8 -> 6 -> 5 -> 4 -> 3 Doesn't matter what team ur on and the bottom most gets eliminated Winner is chosen out of four artists.

Feb will probably be Blind Auditions
March Will probably be 2 hour battle rounds
April will be semifinals (Battle Round Winners) and top 12 and 10
May will be when the show wraps up so maybe 8 to 7 to 6 to 5 to 4 or maybe the first week of june is included

Well I found this out. We have 23 singers to go thru still, with 21 spots left open and two blind auditions eps to go. We're going to see second chance auditions, which means Yale guy (I want it that way) will probably make it through.

Also 3rd ep got 16 million down from ep 2 but it got 13% less than idol's ratings.

Also The Voice is getting a third season this fall. Huh, I'd expect them to only do once a year but The Voice is the only big hit for NBC right now, so if they feel like doing it twice a year then go ahead. (Makes me think that there could be a Kids only season, like what they're doing in the netherlands right now)

I think because they label themselves as 'coaches', it has an impact on how they are with the acts. I actually like it how they're not too harsh on the contestants, the 'judges' on X Factor for example have got away with a lot of bitchy, unecessary commentary IMO, so I like how they're more humble.

AND YES ERIN MARTIN?!?!:joker: I think she has something special and distinctive about her voice, it makes me want to listen to her more. I never liked Raelynn either, I never really saw her as a contender to win. However, I thought her performance on the live show was really good, I love how she gave attitude, and her voice is sooo cute!

I'm really glad someone else watches this show, it'll be great to discuss with someone.

The Results show will be at the usual time not at 8/7c because the final will be dueling with the US version of SCD's results (which is very popular) if it starts at 7 since it's two hours.

And I don't know if they're going to have celeb duets but all the teams from season 2 will be singing. I'm guessing the finalist will be the lead and the others backup singers for most of the time.

Actually Jermaine's win is sort of tainted. Mainly because of who he sang backup for Alicia Keys. She has 7 Million Followers on twitter and has been posting his number on her page, probably mostly American and the show usually has about 10 to 12 million viewers on average. You do the math.

I don't really have a problem with Jermaine winning (would've prefered Juliet, who came in 2nd). I just feel that's it a little bit tainted.

Also I have a question, since there is going to be a third US season (there may be rumors that it's this fall, but the turnaround would be too hard so it's this winter)

Well I just found out that The Voice 3 will be this fall with the current four coaches.
Then Winter 2013 they're going to have a another season but with four different coaches.
Also they plan to tweak the format up a little bit and include the revolving chairs into the battle round. I have no idea how that's going to work.....at all.

So let the rumors begin who will be the winter cycle coaches? Justin Timberlake (has connections to NBC), Katy Perry?

Also a twist has been announced for the Knockout Round something that's replacing the battle round. Basically a coach can claim a eliminated contestant from another team.

The producers (Which include Mark Burnett and John De Mol, Yes the creator of Big Brother) have said that they have found a way to make the teams actually face each other in the voting eariler and sing more often.

The Fourth US Season started about 2 weeks ago,

This batch so far is better than Season 3's batch. Shakira and Usher fit quite nicely on the panel. Shakira is hilarious and Usher isn't a douche. There's one more week of blinds here and 12 spots per team.

I saw it on another site, Kids seasons are way shorter than Regular seasons. There's also only 3 Coaches (At least on the Holland Version.) I think it might be possible. Yes, I was expecting some country and I could live with it a few weeks back when we had such a diverse group of singers, it's just disappointing when all we're left with is mainly one style/genre.

I'm more hopeful with your comment on Michelle pulling through if there's more voters out there not looking for country.

Now with four country acts in the mix, their votes are going to split across, which could go in Michelle's favour.

I was shocked to see Judith go, I thought she was worthy of a finalist position.

Xtina was good in series 1. She was ok in series 2 and horrend last series, probably because she hated Amanda Brown who is one of my favourite talent show contestants of all time <3. Cee Lo is great though, quirky, just what you expect.

Also Danielle Bradberry has been signed to Taylor Swift's Label that she works for. It's called Big Machine Record. Great choice in my opinion.

Also in a bit of somber news, Jamar Rodgers a semifinalist from Team Ceelo in Season 2, is in the intensive care unit of a hospital because of a lung infection. He does have AIDS, which probably had something to do with it. Ceelo has tried to contact him along with friends and family.

This week's Semi will be one hour. They're bringing back The Sing Off for a short run (It's Pitch Perfect as a TV Singing Competition. It's where Pentatonix got their start) and it's being produced this time by the Voice Producers. Which is why they sacrificed the voice back an hour.

Season 6 is starting soon, they've had ads for it already. Looks like they have a new blind audtion set guessing by the ads.

Starts Feb 24th due to the olympics being on NBC. They are using Danielle Bradberry as the artist performing the song for NBC's Olympics coverage called "My Day"

I loved last season, the two things that were wrong with it were the fact that Midas Whale didn't make the liveshows (In Season 5 they added another steal to the Knockouts, Midas Whale could've needed that :( ) and Danielle Bradberry winning.

Pharell Williams has been tapped to replace Ceelo on Series 7. (It was so obivious that he would)

Also Series 6 is in it's final week before the liveshows. Knockouts have been thrown out in favor for a 2nd round of battles, Two major differences from the first time are that there's only one key advisor that is shared among the four teams (Who's Chris Martin.) and the pairs get to choose their song from a predetermined list made by their coach.

The top 20 show will not be "Live" this year. It's being prerecorded. But same rules as always. Top 2 choices by America per team go through automatically, then the team's coach chooses the third.

The twitter save is back for the Top 12 on and they're adding a singoff to it.
There's one less liveshow as well so it's likely that 4 artists will be in the final.

I think what edged Josh past Jake was that even though I think Jake had more general public support, I think Josh had both Internet and a good chunk of the general public support so it spared us a Jake win.

I can't believe that they pushed Jake so much in those last couple of weeks that he ended up beating Christina.
