There were name tags. But only a few which was weird. That or I stopped noticing fast.

I don't even notice the tags anymore, get caught up whilst watching the show haha, the music is slightly annoying but I don't mind it too much anymore after becoming used to it after watching two series.
Looking forward to this weekend's episodes, then not watching until 26th Jan because of exams :(

Yeah the music wasn't even good except Marry The Night.

The music was never good last year really, even the American series has better music.

While the start was ok, didn't they start slowly last year and then start really going to town on montages, music, narration from the DR, nametags, Marcus went into overdrive etc. So I'm not getting my hopes up too soon on this.

I will say that none of the HMs are as annoying as Jedward. And so far they aren't concentrating and just a few and ignoring all the others but, again, it's early days there.

This, it didn't put me off, we'll obviously have montages now, with tasks and everything, but it wasn't off-putting last night, the name-tags I barely notice either.

Agree with you Josy, I like it when its long winded. Plus the added music and exaggerated effects overpower the task, so I hope they get rid of that too.

Ah man, really hope they don't do that. But no doubt they probably will. Don't get why they think we don't want to watch tasks
