I think his fame is a bit fabricated on here. He's riding off a few good films he's made.

maybe he's not as important in the US as he appears to be here?

Michael Madsen hasn't been relevant since Kill Bill. He filed bankruptcy a few years back so I presume he's taking jobs from anyone who will offer them at this point, hence the copious amounts of trash he's been involved with recently.

Think he might earn a little bit more than national minimum wage

He looks better than bloated, sallow little Frankie. Imagine what Frankie's going to look like in his fifties!

He's also done voice overs for Grand Theft Auto III, Driv3r and more and has written several books of poetry.
He's definitely the most famous in the house imo I don't know about him still being a millionare though, he's filed bankruptcy before and supposedly owed $570k in child support payments.
He's still a legend :worship:

Michael said he had to ask his mate (Vinnie Jones) whether to do it or not, and Vinnie said he should or, in Michael's words, Vinnie "endorsed" it. Maybe Vinnie's not as good a mate as Michael thought, eh?:joker:

His role in Reservoir Dogs is his most famous I would imagine and that was essentially a small indie film that cost about a million dollars.
He's played character parts since then and if you factor in child support that is talked about above, which as far as i know doesn't change depending on whether you have a good year or a bad, he's probably not doing great.

Anyway, it is possible that not EVERYONE who goes on CBB is desperate.
I mean, if I was an A lister or something, I would probably do it...just because I love the show. That may make me stupid as most consider it career suicide though :joker:

He's getting a decent amount of money to just live a few weeks or less in a house. If he had nothing else to do I don't see why he wouldn't do it.

Reservoir Dogs was an independant film/indie film. That isn't a slight on the film.
The point I was making is that Madsen would not have got paid much for a film that cost a million dollars and a film where he wasn't even the biggest "star" in the movie.

Oh... that's okay then :-)
I'm a massive Tarantino fan you see. Leapt to his defence when there was no need. Soz.

Yeah, sure Paranormal Activity was an indie film and it has had 3 major films now.
He's been in a lot of big movies, some small ones too and few popular video games.
I'm sure he got a lot for DRIV3R anyway, that was a big budget game. The likes of Iggy Pop and Mickey Rourke in it, and the trailer was directed by Ridley Scott.

Interestingly he will probably get paid more for video games, I was able to find this quote about celebrity actors in video games:
"Now, if you were to talk celebrity voice talent, that figure increases exponentially. Speaking to Reuters, Blindlight production company general manager Lev Chapelsky said that some stars have demanded $750,000 for an hour’s worth of work, and one voice actor actually received $500,000 for a single session. Chapelsky told Reuters that top talent commonly receives “in the high five figures for a single session.”"
He's appeared in 6 video games in the last 10 years. I wouldn't assume he got paid the $500 000 peak the quote mentions. The average voice actor apparenlty earns "$50,506" so maybe let's say $100 000 - 200 000
Think I've provided too much information but there we are if you want it haha

I wouldn't say D-list, more like B-List. OBviously not A-list, but he does have a very respectable film career. I think alot of these American celebs, think of going on BB like the way Brad Pitt does deoderant commercials in Japan, they figure no one in America will ever see it, so it's just easy money.
