Why are there so many 'chat' threads?

There used to only be one, so it was easier to drop in and catch up.

Now there are loads of them.

What's up with that?

There used to be one active chat thread, and everyone chatted in it. This forum is so divided now. :(

They get closed when they reach about 10k and then usually some who posted in that thread restarts it under an new name.

I think Mollie's Chambers is sorta a continuation of the Brotherhood thread, and The Boudoir is kinda a continuation of The Den (the one Ross started).

There's also the chillout lounge but I think the only other people able to interpret the hazy, alien language contained within are Benjamin and Karl.

i hate both chat all the chat threads tbh but claudias i despise the least

i dont mean i hate the the people in them coz i love everybody on here i just hate the threads themselves like the locke/novo one is mostly just 'put the kettle on' 'well well well' repeat over and over for like 500 pages and the other one is just glee **** and **** music and hot guys
