I loved Brian as a housemate on Big Brother 2 and Ultimate Big Brother but i don't think I want to see him return in the Summer for some reason, does anyone else feel the same? Don't mind if you disagree

I think Brian done a pretty bad job at the launch. He's an amateur and the show needs a professional presenter. The sooner he's gone the better for BB.

JohnnyBB

yes yes yes axe brian now!

Callum

I want him gone too but it's pretty obvious that the producers have no intention of getting rid of him.

Anyone but him. He is dire

Yes, he is cringeworthy.

At the beginning of the first BOTS this season it showed Emma outside where Brian normally is, and she just fit the host role so perfectly and reminded me of Davina. The main show NEEDS her.

For me the thing is with Brian is that when he is delivering a link it seems as if he is reading something that was written for him rather than what he wants to say - he comes across as wooden.... always thought that the perfect host after Davina would be Kate Thornton she's good at interviews good in front of a crowd and has a sense of honour that comes across down to earth rather than Brian who seems to think he is something other than the smiling non funny plank he comes across as been ...

Whew i watched Alice do the house tour it broke my heart to think such a wonderful presenter was stuck co hosting the spin of wile that amateur hosted the main show...

I know what you mean she looked and sounded more natural than Brian

reece(:

he IS wooden, and the constant audience interactions are horrid as is his "agressive" interviewing style

Zomgzilla
08-01-2012, 11:48 AM
Get the ginger bird from BOTS to present it.

Axe him if he can't learn to interview, he was beyond cringe at the launch.

'I CAN'T WATCH, WHO AM I KIDDING, IT'S GONNA BE GREAT'

' I BET YOU WANT SOME HOUSE HOTTIES GARETH'.

Shut the **** up.

Stu
08-01-2012, 02:43 PM
He's awful. I can't take to him at all. It's like when your substitute teacher hasn't showed up so the class clown takes a dustbin, stands on it and plays the role of teacher like a complete, obnoxious dick. He's just this annoying man who shouldn't really be in the role. Brian is the TV host equivalant of a dog being loose in the school. **** him.

He is not a good presenter. If he doesn't improve toward the end of this series then the producers should seriously consider axing him and getting somebody who is actually good at presenting.

I love Brian. 100% improvement on the awful, gurning Davina.

He was awful on launch, every one of the little interviews was forced and awkward, suppose that wasn't completely his fault though, a lot of the questions he must have been given to ask were stupid or just plain wrong

George Lamb was fab on BBLB but I was slightly disappointed at him on The Bank Job but O'Leary loved BBLB and was gutted when he was roped into TXF... George Lamb or Dermot O'Leary

Stu
08-01-2012, 03:05 PM
I used to hate George Lamb but I see the funny side to him now. I'd get a kick out of him hosting.

"Alright so this is the launch, I guess. How about that, eh?".

Why would he take a hosting gig? xD

As much as I like the guy and I can see he is trying, he made quite a hash up of the launch. Way too many mistakes, when he didn't get Michael Madsen's joke as well that was awkward.

"Some z-list housemates, you say? A sarcastic, patronising host, you say? It all starts tonight. How about that guys?"

I always hated George, but his complete disinterest and his often sarcastic tone did make me laugh.

Yeah he's still pretty bad. I think we need a female presenter, or someone who can at least interact with the contestants and crowd more.

Jack_
08-01-2012, 05:05 PM
On The Bank Job the other night, a contestant knew the answer to a question about the Kardashian's, and when she tried to act like she was surprised she knew the answer, he took the piss, saying something along the lines of 'oh yeah you don't watch trashy TV, of course not'. I was thinking how 'trashy TV' is how he probably saw BB at the time :joker:

I also remember how on the night of the Ultimate Big Brother final, he stood there practically laughing with a big smirk on his face, while everyone else was in tears :joker:

Emma would be better on the main show so I can see her less, Jamie needs to be killed, Brian can go back to being a nobody and give Alice the main BOTS presenter job and I might watch more.

Brian is an awful presenter, so wooden and boring.

On the launch night he just kept saying "I like it" or "I like that" whenever a housemate answered a question, he's just a rubbish presenter!

I agree Emma would be much better at the job, and Alice as main host of BOTS!

I'm getting used to Brian. I'd rather have Davina back, BUt Brian is fine, i'd rather have brian than emma or alice. It would be annoying, now that i'm getting used to Brian, then I have to get used to someone new AGAIN? no.

They should stick with Brian or bring Davina back. I don't want them to keep switching trying out emma, then whoever else.

To me with Brian reading the teleprompter, he's basically the UK Big Brother version of Julie Chen who is the host of the US version

He was terrible on launch night. There were so many moments that just made me cringe. Also, he needs to get a nice tailored suit. His suits never fit him right and that looks so nasty.

I wanted a new host ever since actual BB. I hope they don't bring him back but they most likely will. He just seems so uncomfortable and awkward in front of the camera and when interacting with celebs.
