Is there anything confirming this?

Loads of them were discussing who they voted for, not even trying to hint just saying it straight out and they weren't punished by BB.

People on Twitter are saying that they are allowed to.

Hope not.

Thats good as it makes it more of a gameshow again.

No it's the exact opposite of good, it's terrible. It should not be made more of a gameshow because that isn't what Big Brother is supposed to be.

bbuk tweeted before that they can discuss nominations for the whole series and for bb13 from what i gathered from tweets by the ed daily star guy, although i take what he says with a pinch of salt :D

They should show them all the nominations.

I think they should be allowed to discuss nominations, but big brother should reserve the right to play back any of these discussions into the house

Big Brother is a mix of entertainment and gameplaying which it has been lacking on C5 because they are to obsessed with love stories.
