A man has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent after a woman was stabbed in the back as she left a theatre.
Adam Morgan from Blackpool has been remanded to appear before Blackpool Magistrates Court later.
He is also charged with criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.
A 59-year-old woman from Keighley, West Yorkshire, was attacked as she left the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on Sunday at about 24:30 GMT.
She had left the building in a group of around 20 people when she was approached by a man on a bike who stabbed her, police said.
The woman was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where she remains in a stable condition awaiting further tests.
She had been watching a show at the theatre with her family.
A 20-year-old man from Blackpool has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and is currently on police bail.
