I'm still trying to imagine how this happened

Were you trying to flick it into your eye, only to make it fly across the room and into the radiator or something?

GypsyGoth

I think I understand. Maybe you could get a stick to poke it out or something?

Sam:)

No, my bathroom has a radiator beside the sink, above the radiator/sink is a mirror and they got stuck there

Tongs or tweezers to get them out? Failing that do you have Home Contents Insurance? Some policies cover loss or damage to items like Contact Lenses / Glasses

i've been wearing mine for about 5 years and it's safe to say if its gone down the radiator there is no hope

mine fell behind a radiator once

also, are you 100% sure its in the radiator? look all over the bathroom floor and on the sink.
check your clothes too

Oh, I see what you mean. They are behind the radiator. How about using a hair dryer on full power to blow them out?

GypsyGoth

What happened? Did you find them?

Turn off your heating, close the valves on the pipes feeding and from the radiator, make sure you remember how many turns etc you use to close them, saves rebalancing all the radiators later.

Disconnect the pipes, drain the radiator, then remove from wall.

Find contact lenses then replace and reconnect the radiator in the reverse order as you removed it.

Turn heating on.

POP

Or get a plumber or someone else who knows how to do it for you.

We got them out but they were warped, I was going to get new ones but my mam was made redundant today so the chance of me getting 380euro is very slim. I think shes starting her own business so I hope she gets the funding from the HSE:) I want them asap I hate glasses

GypsyGoth

Sorry to hear they're unusable and that your mom lost her job. As Bollo suggested, maybe they were covered on your Home Insurance.

No my mams delighted, she worked in this playschool for 29 years and she loved it up until she got a new boss, she made work horrible for my mum. Her and her friend have been asked to pitch the new playschool to take its place which they will run. Anyway my dad has a fairly high enough payed job. I just hate wearing glasses, atm im not wearing them when im out but my mam and dad will have a fit if they find out:L

380 euro? Have they x-ray vision? Aren't they like 40 quid in Specsavers for a half a years supply of monthly disposables?

Scratch that I've just read your first post again. RGP.

Yeah I have ****e vision, they cost 300euro but you pay 80 for the fitting/aftercare. They also last 3years, My mam just told me she'll get them next month. At first they were really pissed off because i've only had them since December. Also had my follow up appointment on Friday which was when i was supposed to get the insurance for them.

Sam:)
