Do you think she has done anything worthwhile to stay over Andrew so far?

Had to think for a nanosecond about that, and that's about all the time we've seen her in there so my answer would be no!

Not really, but Andrew is so annoying, I'd like him to go. Also, some people have been given an unfair advantage with secret tasks to make them stand out more :bored:

Not over Andrew no...
Not over anybody really, she's easily the non-entity of the series.

I think she deserves a chance to come out of her shell and join in with things a bit. It's early days yet, but she's already proved herelf to be infinitely less annoying than Andy Pansy.
Anyone who is not Andrew deserves to stay

No, she's boring. She's not even famous for starters, I'm sorry but being a minor celebrity in an entertainment backwater like Ireland does not make you a famous over here. I don't think she's unpleasant in anyway, but I do think that she obviously doesn't want to be there and has only gone in to please her agent and launch her career in the UK.

I wish she could stay a bit longer she seems nice and easy going, but not over Andrew for me

Apart from Madsen they're all prety much minor celebrities in there and they're all in there to further their careers one way or the other.

The first eviction is far too early, but then again they are not in there for long which is a pity.

True, but at least the others are actually making an effort!

I've had a bit more of a think about this and come up with a reasoned argument for why Georgia should stay over Andrew - we probably now know all we are likely to know about Andrew, whereas there's probably still quite a bit to learn about Georgia. Andrew's blurted everything out about himself already, warts and all, but because Georgia's been quiet there's still plenty for us to find out about her. It may not be as dramatic as Andrew's life story but it could still be interesting. If she gets evicted then we'll probably never know though.

And some are making too much effort. There's only so much airtime per show, so obviously BB will show the drama caused by people like Andrew, but once those over the top characters go then we'll get to see more of people like Georgia and what they're about. Personally, I can't bear people you meet who want to tell you their life story straight away the first time you meet them, and that's what Andrew's like. I much prefer to find out things about a person gradually as it implies a bit of modesty rather than an assumption that everyhing about that person is really interesting.

But true.
I love Ireland and I love the people, but lets be honest it IS an entertainment backwater. The telly over there is absolute rubbish as well.

True, if Georgia had been given the task then everybody would be voting to save her right now.

Yes the girl needs more time for us to get to know her.

You watch Irish TV regularly then?
Georgia being in there has got our "backwater" radio stations talking about BB as well which will no doubt stop once she goes.

They might be talking about BB, but you can't even watch it over there anymore. So what's the point really?
Irish telly is bad. When I was there I had the misfortune to see the Irish version of Britain's Got Talent, except it wasn't officially part of the BGT franchise and was just some really bad knock off version with Shane from Boyzone as a judge. It was really really awful.

I'm sure she's a lovely girl, but in all honesty she hasn't exactly taken the show by storm. In fact you wouldn't even know that she was there if it weren't for Kirks drooling.
Maybe she'd come alive if the house was down to four people, but I doubt its worth the risk. :D

By what measure?
By the measure of being an entertaining housemate? No
By the measure of not being as horrible as Andrew? Yes

It's just a shame she got nommed really, if I remember it was quite close. Andrew V Kirk or something would've been good. But the women seem to want eachother out.

It doesn't matter squat how much Big Brother is talked about in Ireland. Channel 5 can't get ratings out of us. It's not measured over here.
And he's right - Ireland is an entertainment cesspit. RTE is a national embarrassment with most original drama and comedy for the past ten years being just absoloutely woeful.
Even RTE seem to have given up on it and most of their prime time slots are now devoted to pastiche, throw away crime shows designed to scare the balls off you so you stay indoors and watch more crappy, taxpayer funded telly.
I think this whole "Hey I'm Irish and I disagree!" carry on serves only to marginalized us.
