View Full Version : Frankie Perception of Frankie

Has anyone's perception of Frankie changed since he has gone in to the house?
I was a little bit unsure of what to make of him after his xfactor exit but so far, I think he has quite easily the best housemate. Maybe it's the way the producers have edited the show but I think he is doing well and hopefully people can forget about him taking a line or two of coke, because lets face it, we all know someone who has done drugs and still like them, and well, if you dont then you probably have few friends or either a hermit.

Never liked him and he's proved to be even more of an idiot than I ever dared imagine !

No, my perception of Frankie has been totally reinforced by his behaviour in the house. He may only be a teenager, but his views on women in particular are disgusting - his parents should hang their heads in shame.

I don't like his talk as to women and his conquests etc but overalhe has surprised me and I have changed my attitude towards him.
I expected to really dislike him and want him out very soon but now I hope he goes to the final and I rate him as a good housemate.I don't find him that abusive,it's just his constant references to sex and women that is offputting but he is nowhere near as offensive as some have been on BB series, particularly the last one.

he is just a kid,men dont really grow up until they reach 30,some never do!.but look at nicola last night a married mother of two!,had too much to drink and turned into an easy slapper!,
Not really, he's still a bit of a prat. I don't think he's a massive druggy, I'm pretty sure he only did it the once? He's just immature and silly, which he still is and has shown that in the house.

so your telling me, you where never an 18 year old who thought about sex, drinking, wanking and isn't every 18 year old view on woman basically the same?(assuming your a male of course). it's all the things that go through a young man's head at that age. Least he is up front about it and lets be honest about it, if there was cameras on front of every 16/17/18/19/20/21 year old lad in Britain, Ireland, France, everywhere, the would just be the same as Frankie Cocozza.
I am presuming that you are a lot older than Frankie (sorry if I'm wrong) but this just seems to come across as older people slamming young people for who the adults where when they where younger. For example, Parents, say 35 years old and above, have this incredible urge to strike youngsters down, saying that all they do is drink, do drugs etc.. It's only since newspapers and media in general have become widely available that these views have come across. It was the exact same scenario in the 50's/60's/70's, just not everybody knew that everyone else was doing it because of the lack of media coverage. My parents are just over 60 and the have admitted doing drugs in there teens and twenties, drinking and fooling around. Your only young once, people learn, my parents raised me exceptionally well, they had good jobs and enjoyed they years when they where free to do what they wanted.
Stop everyone taking your anger and hatred out on one person because you think he is a waster or what have ya. Kids will be kids and he will soon cop on that it's not all sex, drugs and getting hammered.

Hes alright, hes exactly how I thought he would be to be honest.
I think the cockiness and that is just hiding how insecure he actually is.
I never thought he was this monster that the press made him out to be. Taking a few drugs does not make a bad person.
I think he's actually the most likeable one in there, he's been really friendly and gotten along with everyone, I don't think many would have expected him and Michael to have formed any kind of a friendship but it seems like they have done, and he's barely done any bitching about people or been rude to them, something you can't say for most of the housemates

I don't know what it is about Frankie that makes me tolerate him, maybe it's because i have a 16 year old nephew who is both lovely and horrible,LOL,but deep down i know he's a good lad,so maybe that is why I quite like Frankie! I am quite shocked at myself as usually that 'type' of sexual talk and behaviour from men is usually a big turn off for me.so still unsure as to why I find him ok...............so far!

As a woman, I am offended and disgusted by Frankie, and as a mother of two now grown up sons I can assure you that they were both brought up to respect women as equals, and to observe the basic social courtesies of not groping and fondling themselves in public, refraining from making overtly crude sexual comments not only about women behind their backs, but to their faces, and to ultimately respect THEMSELVES by behaving like mature adults which teenagers are presumed to be at age 18! And as for taking drugs, I never did, neither did my children, nor any of their friends, so I have to question your blanket observation that "everyone" does it, because they clearly don't. Some people lead happy fulfilled lives without the need for chemical enhancement. YES, really!
Please do not presume to tell me what opinions I may hold about anyone I please, and don't just assume that all older people ever behaved in the disgusting way that Frankie does. And NO, not every teenage boy takes drugs, shags around, thinks 24/7 about sex and talks disgustingly about the opposite sex as if they were put on earth for his entertainment as some sort of sex toy. It's really quite ridiculous to generalise that every teenage boy is like Frankie. Sadly some are, but I can assure you that thankfully the majority are not.

I don't think he was a good singer or anything but he was one of the ones you'd look forward to every week. I said before this started that he'd win it and I still think he will... a lot of young girls like him and I've seen quite a lot of people saying they were wrong about him on X Factor and also like him now. He will get a lot of good edits aswell

As a female with older children too,I am not in the slightest insulted by Frankie, and lets be honest love, none of KNOWS what our older children do when not in the house
Bully for you, but let's be honest not all parents are the same are they LOVE, anymore than their kids are? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree - true saying.

But then again all mothers think their sons are respectful young men when the fact is they masterbate over porn, get drunk and talk dirty about girls like every other teenage boy.
And yes im sure none of their friends or them themselves have ever touched alcohol or drugs lol (sarcasm)
You sound slightly in denial

I honestly don't get how the same people that hated Justin Waggot last year can even like Frankie, they behave the same and if Frankie is old enough to go on the show then his old enough to be judged for his vile behaviour.

Frankie is nothing like Jay...
If anything..and this is even stretching it a bit, hes more like Anton (with the way he talks about women and that)
Jay was disliked because of his vulgar streak IMO, thats certainly why I disliked him. I just cant warm to someone whos life revolve around their anus and what comes out of it :bored:

Frankie is vulgar though and Jay was also quite bad about talking about women in dirty and sexual ways.

Ahh come on jf. I know you dont like him, but you cant seriously be trying to compare a few off remarks about women and a bit of nose picking to putting **** in the freezer...****ting while someone is in the bath whilst making sure it was as loud as possible and having a wanking competiton in public?!(there is more no doubt... but those came to mind first)
Frankie has bad manners...and bad views on women. However, a lot of teenage lads have the same attitude as he does tbh, not that this makes it right...but thats life

And no I still don't like him as his Kirk's bitch.
maybe the should smarten up and buck the trend :P
but seriously you must be on coke to make over 12,000 posts in 24months, bearing in mind big brother is only on about 4/5 months of the year. SPEEDY GONZALEZ!!!!

I find this part of the post very insulting as i'm not anything like Frankie Cocozza, infact I would rather be like someone from TOWIE (that isn't Kirk) than be compared to Frankie Cocozza.

I do have to admit though I am more in line with Vicky on this one, I didn't like Frankie but somehow, other than the sex talk, I think he's a good housemate, I somehow feel a bit sorry for him as at times he seems out of his depth but overall I have liked a lot of his banter. Everyone to their own opinion though.
Other than the sex and women attitude, he has,in my view, shown a softer, nicer side to him in the house and I have changed my view as to him quite a lot.
Now Jay, I would never feel able to alter my thoughts there.

Nobody mentioned anything about CHEMICAL ENHANCEMENT!!Christ! sorry I took the lords name in vain, Am I a bad boy in your books now?
I don't mean to startle you or anything but I was brought up to respect women probably just as well as you brought up your kids, I don't grab my dick in public places and play around with it. Maybe your own kids haven't experimented with the wonders of non-chemically enhanced drugs but how on earth do you know what your kids friends do? Some times I don't even know what my own friends do never mind a generation above us!
I suppose I may apologise for the generalisations I may have made but lets face it, this generation is no worse than the generation before us.

I 100% agree with you Niamh.I love posting on here too, it's 'my' time,I don't think 12,000 posts is excessive in 24 months, it only works out at only 17 a day, I can make them in half an hour sometimes.
JFs average is like 17 a day and mine is around 13 a day despite being at Uni,having a pet Dog and also socialising with friends and other students.
