I want to know everyones thoughts on this and get it over with once and for all.

So please vote in the pole.

Do you think BB is sexist towards men and let women get away with everything or do you think all housemates are treated as individuals and not judged on gender as if it was the 1950's.

Had Michael done the whole "I'm going to punch you in the face" thing to Denise, he wouldn't still be in the house :idc:

True.

On the other hand, if he had punched her in the face he could only have improved it.

If Kirk had of been invading Georgia's space with 'I'll flash you my d*ck' ....I think people would view it differently...yet Michael has showed no more interest in Denise than Georgia has with Kirk

Actually I don't think that's true, remember Tom threatening Aaron in there, he said something similar, he didn't even get warned. I think C5 are just more lenient than C4 were. She should have been warned though.

On Topic : No, I don't believe BB is sexist. I do think they treat people as individuals and spot and exploit their weaknesses.

Yeah he said something like to Harry as well, and Jay also said a couple of times that he'd like to kick Aaron's head in

That's right yeah, they just seem more lax than C4. I suppose they'll stay like that too until some big scandal happens like Fight Night or The Shilpa Bully incident.

They seem fair to me, When Jay in BB12 was fuming with anger nobody ever did anything. I don't agree that it's sexist at all.

Also in bb5 Emma was kicked out and absolutely nothing happend to Victor. If it's anything, it's sexist against women imo

Well, tbf, we don't actually know what Emma did to get herself kicked out as they cut l/f mid war. Rumour has it that she spat in his face, which is vile and if that was the case she was very deservedly kicked out.

we don't know what happened though, so it's just speculation. We do know however that Emily Parr was booted out for remark that was not even intentionally insulting.

Yeah, of course it's complete speculation but I'm pretty sure she must have been the main culprit otherwise she would have kicked up a huge fuss afterwards?

I completely agree about Emily, although I doubt it was down to the fact she was female, more that it happened on the back of CBB5 and Shilpagate

All the examples so far have been males threatening males. If Michael would have told Denise he was going to punch her in the face, more would have been done.

Buggar all sexist about it. It depends on the personalities of the individuals, whether they happen to be male or female is irrelevant - it's about the person - not about their gender.

so nope: no sexism.

And to strengthen you point - that was the very same thing disgusting action that Dennis was kicked out for - thus proving it's the actions of the individual, and not the sex of the person that is the determining factor.

AND that is why, mainly, they are up for eviction this week. They are not part of the 'gang of seven'....the twins are the other outsiders. Had Georgia let Kirk paw her (PS HE IS NOT IN HER LEAGUE, SORRY), and Michael not lost his rag with Denise, they certainly wouldn't have got FOURTEEN NOMINATIONS between them....:nono:

Which only demolishes your sexist claims even further - Yes, sometimes it happens with males, sometimes it happens with females. It happens - regardless of the sex of the person.
