Saying there was a lot more that went on which wasn't shown of her time in the house like numerous chats to Denise and Romeo and what other housemates got up to etc. I understand that not everything can be shown but still...

For someone with her kind of celebrity status, she's lucky she got any airtime at all. Who really cares what she thinks?

Like what exactly? I'm sure there are countless "chats" that don't get shown, they do only have an hour of h/ls to fill

Exactly though I do wish they would try and show a bit of each housemate in the HL's, if they can, to make it an even playing field - agree with Chuff we so need Live Feed to get more of a feel for what is going on and what they HM's are like.
..irony much... Natasha complaining about stuff being concealed...maybe she could write a letter for us

Anyone who expects someone on CBB to have much of a celebrity status is living in some land of make believe. And it's rather shallow to only watch a show because you think someone is famous enough to watch anyway.
And it's obvious the editing is biased, it always has I suppose. It just plays to the prejudices of the audience and manipulates them like puppets.

Her diary room chat about wanting to show people the real her was a load of predictable self pity bullsh*t. She wanted a taste of fame and she got it, well done her.:bored: I was delighted she was evicted so soon and partly have boring Georgia to thank for that.:joker:

I thought she came out of CBB rather well, certainly much better than how she went in so I'm not sure why she's criticising. Probably a bit angry at being evicted so early
In fairness she did say right after:
It's hard to show everything with the time they have, all I will say is I loved every single second and can't wait to meet up with everyone!

I bet they're all tingling in anticipation of meeting up with her also.

That certainly sounds more like her.

Not really, whilst I have come to the conclusion that the level of someone's fame has no bearing on how entertaining they are in the house, lots of people expect what they're promised. This is "Celebrity" Big Brother therefore it's not unreasonable to expect the housemates to have some kind of fame for a talent or job they have not for a relationship.
Plus, there's a big difference between fame and celebrity.

I agree with this and I find it equally annoying when they have people like for example Louise in normal BB, when someone with no fame should be in there instead.

I tend to watch CBB and BB in exactly the same way, the celebrity bit has no particular interest to me, but I guess some people enjoy that aspect of it as it gets consistently better ratings than normal BB

Spot on. Celebrity used to mean something - that the person was celebrated for some acheivment or ability. That's why I found it distasteful to have Natasha in there as the implication was that she was a celebrity and that sleeping with your brother in law is somethng to be celebrated.

I know that although that one was just a twist to make it different and as I sometimes forget, BB can change the rules at anytime:joker:, but it still annoys me.

It's nothing new though, Faria Alam was in an earlier series.
The problem is though that the audience have already made up their minds on them before they even enter the house, and to me that defeats the whole purpose of the show. Also those in the house will just bitch about those they think are unpopular on the outside to increase their popularity. I suppose all this is ok for those who just was it as a pantomime with heroes and villains, but I prefer it more as an experiment about real complex people.

That's true, but your perception of them can change, I loved Anthony Cotton, but when he went into the jungle by the end I ended up not liking him.

Absolutely. And really Big Brother has been tied to the tabloids and the gossip magazines from nearly the beginning anyway. So anyone who is talked about in them is considered famous enough for Big Brother, like it or not.
