However in there he must be doing more than what is presumed in the highlights because obviously with a lack of LF we don't see everything and are swayed by the HL show footage.

The housemates clearly hold him in high regard so far and like Gareth you do not have to be loud like certain housemates in there to get by...

He is actually still my favourite in there, despite very little footage,as was said by the OP, he clearly is held in high regard by the other housemates so we are clearly missing out on lots that he does and gets involved in.
