I pick that up too. Never had to try, doting parents always provided whatever he wanted... it makes for a very shallow, very selfish person with hardly any self-awareness. I think he imagines everyone thinks he's as wonderful as his parents think he is. A dangerous place for someone to be.

He said something along the lines of "I'm basically telling her I love her and I get nothing back" He then goes on to agree with Nicola that she has "nothing about her other than looks" So, basically he's saying that he thinks she has no personality yet he was telling her he loved her? As me and a few others have said on this thread. He expects to get everything he wants. He wants someone to be on the outside just incase nothing works out in the house and he expected if there was someone in the house he fancied they'd be all over him.
