None of them know, then again I don't really ever talk to my friends lol
They must be a bit weirded out when they see random people comment on my facebook pictures about filipinos though
 it's funny how secretive this place is for some people. My housemates came into my room earlier and I was like -hides TiBB window- hai/

I haven't, one old friend saw I used this though once and joined but he made like 10 posts and never returned thank god. My parents are aware that I go on a Big Brother forum because they saw it on my laptop once when I left the tab open by mistake and they asked me about it and who I talk to on there, I was so embarrassed. Thankfully the conversation soon changed subject and it hasn't been brought up since.

my best friend joined a couple of times under various guises and mostly trolled (CookieDough4000 iirc).
It's just not generally something that comes up in conversation. My flatmates saw it open a couple of times and asked what it was and I was honest... I'll have to be honest on Friday & Monday since Zee & MarkWaldorf are coming in my face*

The other day actually. Was round a friend's house and needed to keep up with The Mole, and ended up spending most of the night using his laptop. They couldn't understand why someone would talk about something other than Big Brother on a Big Brother forum. The freaks.

The worst thing is when Patrick tags you in a status or a picture or something on facebook, an you go on there and its been up for hours without you knowing. I don't think I've ever deleted something so fast

I've never openly discussed the forum with anyone.
I refer to TiBB as a 'Big Brother site I go on' nothing about a forum :nono:
Its weird that so many people feel embarrassed with admitting they use the site, when in reality no one would give a **** :joker:

Same actually, most of my friends know I go on Villa forums just abouts
Most of my friends think it's sad that I watch Big Brother, never mind use a forum about it, and never mind being a Moderator on said forum  I always change tabs whenever my parents or brother walk into the room as well, they think I spend my whole time on the internet just on Facebook

True, true. I can generally talk to people on here about my actual feelings as opposed to having to sugar coat everything for the need of being nice and non-offensive. Plus I always know that there will always usually be someone awake to talk to, cheer me up or just distract me from things.

Hahaha, I'm like that with my housemate. She comes in and I quickly switch tabs to YouTube but I usually have something worse on there.

I told my mother about TiBB once when I first joined and I was in Majority Rules forum game. Also, one time I was in an MSN convo with TiBB people and I wanted to add Niamh to it, but I accidentally added someone else I know called Niamh and she wouldn't leave and Nathan told her that they met me on TiBB, luckily he didn't say what the letters stand for. I had to explain a tiny bit but didn't even tell her the site was about Big Brother, that was at a time when I was very active here though.

I've told a coupe friends about it but its not something I just openly discuss with them.
If I think a thread is really funny I might show them but that's it really.
Generally my friends know, if it comes up in conversation (which it does occasionally) I mention I use forums but it's never been a big deal. I'm not embarrassed about using a forum; I'm private about what I do online though - I don't want people stalking me from age 13-20 on this forum . Weirdly, one of my friends here in Germany knows a TiBB member, it's never been brought up in conversation but I'm sure she would have noticed the mutual friend when we added each other on Facebook... I've since deleted said member when I went all anal about my privacy again so now she'll never be able to just bring it up without admitting she'd noticed and hadn't mentioned it .
Oh Greg.. do tell
I remember meeting/adding somebody on facebook from Uni and Shaun was a mutual friend of both.. #awkward
I don't care who knows I use this forum, my oh and one of my sisters browses here sometimes too but they have never joined.

i got my best friend into BBUSA, i sometimes talk about BBUK, but she gets bored cause she hasn't seen it. i certainly am never ashamed of it though.
Most people in the US havn't heard of Big Brother, so it doesn't carry the same social stigma. Plus reality TV is more common in the US i think., there are literally hundreds of reality shows.

I think my friends would be like "wtf??!" if I told them I spent time talking to virtual friends on a Big Brother forum!
