The long-awaited follow-up to Santigold's 2008 debut, a new LP called Master of My Make Believe, is due for release this spring on Downtown and Atlantic Records. Here's the half-animated video for the new single from the record, "Big Mouth", which was produced by Major Lazer's Switch and Buraka Som Sistema. The video was directed by Cody Critcheloe of Ssion.

At one point Santi sings, "Gaga-ga, all slightly off", and an animated tiger eats a blonde, lipsticked mermaid in a crown. Shots? Who knows! Watch the video below, and download the track for free over at Santigold's site.

I've always thought she's kinda similar to M.I.A. but that's mostly because she works with the same producers a lot (Diplo, Major Lazer, etc).

And "Go" from last year, with Karen O, was quite similar to this. Not sure why people didn't complain then.
