View Full Version : Denise Denise will go for the sympathy vote now

Having officially been destroyed by Michael, I think she'll drop her ladette gameplan and go for sympathy. Lots of tears, lots of talk about her depression, lots of talk about how Michael is an egotistical pig. The house will eventually turn against Michael and the sadly the public will too.
Glenn.

Rightly so. There was no need to 'destroy' her, like that.
It makes me sick that people regard Michael so highly and claim he's entertainment. He hasn't done anything except go to bed at 9.
I don't care what people say, there was no need for that tonight. He took it too far.

She has been hounding him for weeks. The woman seriously can't take a hint and thinks just because they're old they should be best friends or something.

Yes, she is oh sooo predictable:bored: Michael is probably the realest HM ever to be on BB, honest to a fault, and doesn't tolerate any BS. People who like Michael get him, so I don't think that his support will fade away.
I think he'll stay on Friday if she doesn't provoke him into walking before then:mad:

Yeah I think she will go for the sympathy vote too and we will see her crying for the next 2 days.

I really don't know how he destroyed her tbh? he said she was "emotionally disturbed" and somehow its being made out that he had a huge rant at her, she has terrorised him in the house for almost two weeks now constantly pushing and pushing and he finally snapped and the worst thing is Denise kept pestering him when they were alone then she would go to the other housemates and tell them her own version of what happened thats probably why they voted him instead of her and it must have pissed him off a bit to see them all voting for him and she gets made out to be innocent in it all.

I think she will get the sympathy vote as well, mainly because he called her mentally unbalanced when she already told the whole house about her depression. People get very easily offended when it comes to this kind of stuff.
Sadly, I think Inone is right the house could turn against Michael, which will piss him off even more and he might lash out and lose public favour. I do hope not though.

An unfortunate big mistake and own goal from Michael on this one.

Michael has his demons too, yet people will look over that just because Denise can turn on the waterworks and he doesn't broadcast his problems to the world.

My point is that normally people feel more sorry for a woman who cries than a man who gets annoyed at a situation. As soon as she cries he becomes the big bad wolf and it will be forgotten she hounded him from day one with constant digs and annoyance.

Yep, you're right people do love a sob story, I just hope Michael can find a way to extricate himself from the situation and have some fun, but I can't see how he'll do it at the moment whilst Denise is in the house

Bet then youre living in the past, thats all been cleared up by them 2 and Denise admitted her original faults. Im not too sure whats happened since but it seems any attempt Denise makes with him he shoves it back in her face
And of course, the point of a man crying getting more sympathy than a woman who got annoyed in a situation is also valid. Crying shows raw emotion and that Denise is genuinely trying with Michael. Hes trying to be clever by putting her down.

Well with us seeing so little, it's hard to say which of them reignites it, or who keeps putting out the olive branch. Just seems to me Denise seems to like testing Michael and see how far she can go. Maybe we'll see something tomorrow to make better sense of what pushed him to say it.

I'm sorry but the way you're going on you're making it sound like he's killed her.
All he did was say she was emotionally unstable like a lot of the public were thinking.

I have watched every highlight show and live feed show. I haven't once seen Michael do or say anything that bad, he's clearly a nice guy imo and still by far my favourite in the house. Have I missed something? Are there some extra shows that I don't know about with unseen psycho Michael footage?:joker::confused:

At the end of the day Denise hasnt done much wrong....she wants Michael to like her but when she has had a drink she cannot accept NO for an answer. Its the sort of behaviour that occurs after a few drinks and she will learn from this.....but she didnt deserve that.
Yes, I'm sure she'll get the sympathy vote and there'll be no sympathy for Michael who realises she's turned the whole house against him....I guess he hasn't got feelings..I guess that didn't hurt him..I guess he's not entitled to be grumpy....:bored:

I agree he was out of order with that comment.
He didnot call her mentally disturbed - he said she is emotionally disturbed. A clear difference in language.
She is emotionally all over the place; drinks and goes on the attack. She herself has admitted in her own book she is emotionally unstable and has made a career talking about it. It was harsh but true. Could it have been dealt with better - probably - but MM is blunt and straight to the point.
It still amazes me how people can over react to a few words in BB. He hasn't hounded her - if anything he's worried about her and how she behaves when she drinks - but no one listens to him though. He's now wound up.
(I remember in BB11 when Ben made an innocent comparison comment about Josie and he was hounded and it was twisted to mean something completely different).
Two words don't deserve to be ratched up to this level. If they were untrue - then fair enough - but they are not.
He's a 54 year old guy whose lived a full life - he knows the score and is a lot more switched on than most housemates in there about Denise and what is really going on with her.
How would some posters feel if someone kept waking them up, hounding them, not respecting their need for space, bitching about them constantly, changing their mind the next day about the relationship, trying to hit them, taking every little thing and blowing out of proportion or taking it personally. Walk a mile in MM's shoes and then make judgements.
He's fed up and a little hurt.

Yes she was so heart broken she took off all of her clothes and jumped in the hot tub.
She should have left him alone the first time he told her. But no. She thought this would be good TV. She acts up all the time and she knows she has a huge following on TV. I have always liked her on TV but her behaviour in CBB is the first time I have seen her after she has had a few drinks and I am afraid she is not very nice.
However I cannot see that it will make any difference to her standing.
Michael is out of his depth on that show. He is trying to stay in the background the way Gareth does but Denise will not leave him alone. It reminds me of Rex and poor Rachel. He tormented the life out of her but she never ever said that Rex bullied her even though he ridiculed everything about her.

Oh for crying out loud. Talk about overegging the pudding Chuff and really stretching it out . :joker:
If anyone is liable to do any battering, it's Denise - given her aggression towards Michael, clenched fists into his face, saying she was going to punch his face in, fingers poking in his face.
If any 'abuser' label is to be tagged to anyone, it is Denise. Remember Chuff, she has admitted that her husband has been known to throw bowls of water over her due to her temper strops and uncontrollable behaviour as it was the only way to get her to stop.
Sympathy votes? Yeah sure...... it's her husband and family I feel sorry for: they've got to live with her all the time. Poor sods.
She shouldn't be drinking to the extent if she has a history of depression.
