It was anything but a cult vid, cult's are systematic and organisational which is what this guy was arguing against. I don't believe in Jesus but this was actually a decent video, and with a good message as well

And I'd say it's pretty accurate to think that most Christians believe that the church is the way to god and that it isn't a personal thing but rather something that has to be ritualistic etc, and that they probably haven't considered that you can get to god and Jesus by yourself should you try.

He's trying to point that out, as am I. I'm fully aware that church can be anywhere, but I'm not talking about the building I'm talking about the organisation and ritualistic 'church' that Christians (like myself) are supposed to follow.

I havent watched the video but the only thing I will say is Jesus had some good teachings but I am not for organised religion, I consider myself more of a free thinker. Religion should be a personal thing good luck to you, always keep an open mind on everything.

I am a Jew by birth, and I choose to follow the religion. I choose to. I mostly agree with your sentiments, although there is a caveat. You claimed that your parents allowed you to choose whether you followed the religion of your heritage, which is extremely admirable position to take by your folks. However, circumcision of children is most definitely an immoral thing to do.

When those children reach adulthood, then they should get the choice of whether they wish to have some of their penis removed. If they do, then there is no issue.

The children may not feel mutilated because they don't know any different, it happened when they were too young to remember, and a penis is a penis as soon as you notice it.
