Is he even still in the house? I don't get why people like him, I don't know him well enough to judge him to be honest. Romeo is pretty much the same apart from I've heard Romeo speak on more than two occasions.

He's there, and has joined the witches... he's turned out to be the worst house-mate of the series after he had so much potential, I literally got so excited when he got confirmed for the show on the day of launch.

Hes more interesting then Georgia and Romeo though lol Hardly the worst housemate

He's so boring, even more boring than Georgia and that's saying something. I hope he doesn't win.

The few times we have seen him he has annoyed me. First moaning about them all drinking, and then last night on the live nominations, after doing a great speech and sorting them all out, he ruined it by sucking up to them all when it was his turn to nominate and even ran up to who he nominated shaking their hands... pointless, he'd already told them all 15 times that he didn't mean any harm in it.

Definitely more boring than Georgia! At least she was attractive. I struggle to see what women find attractive about Gareth.

I suppose you have a point, maybe I'm just being bias, he certainly didn't live up to the hype I had set for him on Launch though.

He's probably the dullest CBB housemate there has ever been, and I've said this before but (God forbid) if he were to be crowned the winner, he'd far and away be the worst CBB winner ever, as well as closing in on the worst winner ever in general, a title of which is held by Rachel Rice.

I'm Welsh and I would hate to see Gareth win so I think it's unfair to make that generalisation.

Seems like he may not be getting much air time

He had one moment when I liked him and that was the pots and pans moment with Michael, which I did find very funny. Other than that I've found him a complete bore, but he's now a bore that I actually can't stand and he's another one I'd hate to see win.

He seems cool but he's so dull and boring, he brings nothing to the house and the only people who think he's gonna win are the witches. He might win who knows but I dislike the fact that the audience were to crown a person who did nothing to deserve it.

This. He's not exactly done much, not that we have been shown. The only real part I can recall of any worth was when he and Michael went into the bedroom battering the saucepans. Other than that, boring.

Given that he, lived life as a married man for 6 years before declaring declaring himself to be gay - I'd say he would be hard to trust.

Not saying it was an easy decision for him either way: not at all but he certainly wasn't honest to his girlfriend, who became his wife for some years before he was truthful - why would he be honest to people he's in the BB house with that he doesn't even know.

the truth
20-01-2012, 02:19 AM
it appears to the outsider he only came out when his book was released in order to make more money and a name for himself and in the process exposed his poor long sufferings wifes private affairs and his extra marital affairs, great player but I have little respect for him off the pitch.

That's a bit unfair, he hadn't really come to terms with it himself nor was he fully aware of the fact that he was gay, his wife is quite thankful for him telling her when he did

Yes it is just your opinion as mine was mine. I'm not holding anything against him - I'm stating facts - if someone can be as dishonest for such a time to someone they loved, it is reasonable to conclude that they would feel no loyalty whatsoever to a bunch of strangers. .

Ive met Gareth and my cousin is married to his ex team mate.

She tells me hes a genuine great lovely man and he shown nothing on BB to prove otherwise.

Being gay is hard to come to terms with and he pbviously wanted to be "normal" hence him not coming out until he couldnt live a lie anymore. He did and still does love his wife like hes said in interviews.

Hes a brave guy but just not thrilling to watch as a housemate

One minute everyones saying hes boring then the next people are saying hes not sincere and suggesting he has some sort of game plan lol.

Coming out is a ****ing hard thing to do, Hes a brave, inspirational guy to all those men, women, teenagers struggling to come to terms with who they are and deservs respect for it. He didnt tell his wife as he thought he could change and be "Normal" but obviously he couldnt live a lie anymore and had to be honest. I honestly think this would make him want to be honest and truthfull and nothing but 100% himself in his life and everything he does from now on dont you?

I've said it before, but I think it's worth repeating - Gareth is the female version of Natalie, all fake concern, everyone's friend, nice, dependable, diplomatic, but in reality a total bitch. Apart from the bitching, I wouldn't even know he was in there. Can't stand him, and only wish he was up this week as well.

i think he is a nice bloke, and its good to see a hard strong gay man in big brother, but its the same old story genuine house mates dont do well in bigbrother,as the camera time is given to the look at me types and what can i do to get attention!,

The only ones who are backing him are the bookmakers? But bearing in mind the bookies have been getting things wrong, it would be best not to pay too much attention on that!.

I think the twins will probably win?, although i don't get why?

Gareths a decent bloke, seems honest and down to earth, however as a housemate he hasn't brought alot for the viewer in terms of entertainment value!

I would be surprised if he won!, i know the odds have him as the favourite, but I can't see enough people picking up the phone and voting for him!
