Denise Welch has launched a protest against Big Brother after only half of the housemates received letters from home last night.
Big Brother split the group into two, giving each of set of housemates the other’s letters from home. Both groups had 15 minutes to decide whether or not to shred the other housemates’ letters from home in order to get their own. Whichever group decided to shred first would get their letters. If neither group shredded the others’ letters within 15 minutes, both sets of letters would be shredded.
Nicola McLean wasted no time in shredding the letters from home for the other housemates, taking just two seconds to deny the twins, Frankie, Denise and Gareth their messages. Her actions caused anger amongst the group, but it was Big Brother who Denise was more annoyed at.
She decided to try and block the cameras in the bedroom with pillows and pictures of the housemates from a recent task.
She ranted as she tried to cover the mirrors: “I don’t care, I am taking these down because it will be typical as you like to make me cry every single day, you will punish me in some way and no one else.
“I am taking them down for no other reason other than so I will accrue a punishment for the house and everyone will hate me, so ****** you.”
Explaining her actions to Michael, Denise continued: “I’ll abide by any rule, but if they’re not playing by the rules then I don’t want to play by the rules.”
The Loose Women star then retreated to the garden where she spoke to Big Brother on her own in the smoking area.
“Big Brother, I can take so much of this head ******ing thing but this a game show at the end of the day, this is a game show, this is not a torture chamber,” she said.
“Please, I didn’t get a letter from home as well. Somebody was not punished yesterday and I didn’t get a letter from my children… that’s not fair.”
