I originally thought the producers gave Gareth that task to pimp him and promote him but now I think it was mostly to remind people that he was still in the house. lol.

I'm not hating on him, I love Gareth Thomas, I've just not loved him as a house-mate and I thought him getting in hysterics last night was a bit cringe.
Samuel.

Yeah, there isn't really many hating on him, he just doesn't deserve to win. He's barely added to the series.

Where's the Gareth hate :conf: just saying he totally over egged it last night...and he has been a bore in the house, if you can tell me one interesting thing he has done, then please go ahead, but dont accuse me of Gareth hating, I don't hate anyone, I can dislike him as a HM as he has done nothing, yes Im sure he is a great HM to live with...but for entertainment nope...

But he has done stuff, Ive really enjoyed his advice and like how hes not afraid to get up and muck about even though hes a rugby player, just because hes not been 'controversial' people are going against him classing him as just 'a nice guy' /f

I still don't think he will win and yesterday he was very OTT with the letter, but nice try BB.:bored: Even Boreo didn't look impressed.:joker:

You don't need to be controversial to be entertaining. Gareth is just neither.

He would be the most undeserving winner of CBB ever. He's so utterly dull it's unreal.
A lovely guy, don't get me wrong...and if I were in there I'd probably want him to win (as do most of the housemates), but I'm not, and neither is anyone else, and in terms of what makes TV entertainment, he's made none and done absolutely nothing (bar a few small things). If he wins it will be absolutely laughable, and once again the public will have turned to crowning compete dullards the winner.

Depends on whether or not fans of the rugby clubs he played for vote thousands of times for him, because he has no chance of winning it of viewers' votes.

Or maybe, just maybe, the public would like a nice genuine person to win? Instead of drunks, druggies, sex industry workers, homewreckers......

He put himself in with a chance tonight anyway, but people will have forgot by the end of the next highlights show, so he needs to keep it up if he's gonna win

And championing and crowning these dreadful winners ultimately kills of the show.
If the house were full of complete dullards, a load of Gareth's, Rachel Rice's, Hira's, then we'd have nothing to watch and nothing to talk about. Forums like these and shows like BOTS depend on interesting housemates for them to survive, as they give everyone something to talk about and keep discussion rife. If they weren't there, there'd be nothing to talk about and the show would fail. Wanting entertaining housemates that spark discussions to be evicted just because you don't think they're 'nice', or wanting the people that have done absolutely **** all to create interesting TV to win is just completely illogical and makes no sense whatsoever.
This isn't a 'nicest person in the local town' competition, it's an entertainment TV show and as such, the most entertaining person should be crowned the winner, as, really, that's the only thing that makes sense. And I'm afraid Gareth isn't entertaining by any stretch of the imagination.

Nice guy does not equal good housemate  I would like the winner to have actually brought something to the show.

Gareth is a nice down to earth type of bloke, but that alone wont win him big brother!. Not enough people will pick up the phone and vote for him.
I think he will make it to the final, but after that, he certainly wont finish in the top 2. The bookmakers odds have been wrong before, as has been proven in last years show. So those that are resigned to this supposed Gareth victory shouldn't be!.

If the British public could choose the sexist homophobc paddy to win, then all bets are off.,
that's what makes BB great though, is no one knows what's gonna happen til it happens.
Expect the unexpected!

I would argue your point on Paddy being a sexist homophobic!, I personally don't like the fact that the woman (as he calls them) does everything for the man. However this is the traveller life, and that life is different from the life we all live. They have their beliefs, we have ours!. Doesn't make him a sexist homophibic, its just something travellers believe and whats wrong with that?
