How do the British public usually vote on finale?

Do they vote for the most entertaining? The nicest? The one who could use the money more? The least controversial (everyone's 2nd choice)?

I can only speak for BBUSA and say that on finale night when it comes down to 2 people the jury usually (not always) awards the person who played the game the best (i.e. won more competitions, had the better social game). In other words, they give it to the person who is more deserving and not necessarily the nicest or who needs it more.

It seems to me because BBUK isn't really a game the most deserving housemate would be the one who entertained the most and was the most interesting. But is that how it usually turns out?

adults vote for anyone really
late teens usually vote for the young or sexy ones
young teens vote for whichever HM they want in bed

but us forum peeps are in a catagory all our own ;) we vote for whoever is entertaining ..(usually)

I believe it's been a mix. It's usually the housemate the voting public perceive as being the "nicest". That doesn't mean to say that they haven't also been the most entertaining and most interesting. Occasionally I believe it's been the most reasonable choice person still standing. The voting public obviously always believe the winner is the most deserving housemate or they wouldn't win.

Because discussion of nominations is usually forbidden, to be a game player is usually frowned upon because it implies the person is sneaky and underhand. Of course, they're all game players in reality and always have been.

But that's the great thing about CBB is that it doesn't mean anything who wins, because they all get paid a set fee before they even enter the house. There is no actual reward for winning CBB, so it really does mean NOTHING.
