View Full Version : Denise "You pressed the buzzer without consulting anybody else"

I dont get why Denise brought the issue of the shredder when confronted by Nicola over having their bodies exposed on national tv. Denise said she wasn't cool with her pressing the buzzer without consulting, now if we look back to that episode, the groups were apart and forbidden to consult with each other. On Nicola's group was Michael, Romeo and Natalie all of them have kids. On the other group nobody has kids except Denise.

Nicola said she was gonna press the buzzer and so she did but the other group agreed to wait for the others to shred their letters and when they all met again, Nicola said she pressed the buzzer and they all were cool with it, Denise even hugged Nicola and said they all were waiting for them to press to buzzer.

And now it annoys me so much that Denise is mad at Nicola over that issue when she was cool about it some days ago, that was very two faced and clearly she brought that issue up because she couldn't think of a valid response to Nicola.

What do you think of the whole incident?

Because Denise thinks she's special, and she expected more appreciation for giving up her letter. She thinks she's the only one that matters, and even though it was a group decision, she feels she's not getting enuf ATTENTION for "sacrificing" her letter for everyone else.

Because Denise doesn't do anything without expecting attention and appreciation for it. She is the most egocentric person that has ever been in the house.

the only reason Denise does anything, is because she expects something in return.

Jake.

Because when you are angry, you will do or say whatever you can to upset the otger person. Nicola should know, she has been doing it for a lifetime. I love the fact that Denise stood up for herself and told Nicola where to go

Denise agreed that the other group should have it though, so how is it fair that she's holding it against her now???

that doesn't make any sense to me.

I thought it was a weak response by Denise. By the way, don't fault Nicola for shredding the letters. Fault the producers for putting her in that situation. My biggest qualm about how she handled the letters was she said "sorry" after shredding them almost as if she did it by accident.

It was a weak response because it had nothing to do with the situation at hand. I can't see why anyone would side with Denise on this.

no one should be apologizing. both sides agreed that Nicola's side should get the letters,so for Denise to act like Nicola was being selfish is just ridiculous. Denise agreed to let Nicola's side have the letters, so why is she speaking up now, as if Nicola took something away from her???

Obviously Denise thinks that Nicola owes her something, she obviously didn't give up her letter out of selflessness if she expects some sort of appreciation. Denise clearly thinks that she should be PRAISED JUST FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING.

a famous quote:
"he that gives should not remember, he that receives should never forget"

Obviously Denise thinks she did Nicola a FAVOUR, and she thinks Nicola owes her something.

It was just Denise's attempt to deflect blame onto Nicola for an unrelated incident, although maybe she did have a point about Nicola having been apparently convinced she was going the next day yet was so desperate for her letter

she didn't have a point, cause Denise was just as nervous and vulnerable as Nicola.

I think Denise had a fair point about Nicola, it was not so much the fact that she shredded the letter, it was the way she jumped straight to it without having any time for discussion. The two groups had their own discussion but once BB told them al they had 15 minutes to decide between them it took Nicola less that 15 seconds to jump up and start shredding. At the time most of them looked a bit shocked at how quick she jumped up and started shredding.

Neither side knew what the other side had decided, so Nicola jumped in before she had any inkling that the other side were being generous enough to let them have their letters, that just makes it that bit more selfish in my eyes.

exactly, Denise said she wanted the other group to have it, long before she knew that Nicola hit the buzzer, so how can she then say that Nicola took anything away from her??

denise was perfectly happy to give it to the other group, as a selfless act, but now she's tryna act like Nicola OWES her something? or that Nicola did something wrong?

sorry, but Denise surrendered that task before Nicola even hit the button, so how can Denise use that against Nicola, that's not right.

She's hardly "left her kids". They're with their father. Ordinary people leave their kids with their partner or with family all the time because of work commitments. Hardly makes people a bad parent. Besides, your golden girl Denise has left her kids too. She probably wanted a letter so that she could hear what her kids' schoolfriends thought of her tits.

I agree with you as in that she should have discussed it with her group about the letters but to slag her off because she misses her kids is nasty. I would imagine that all parents who work away from home miss their kids. It doesnt make them horrible people or parents just because they go abroad/away for work.

Of course she misses her kids, I can't actually believe that Im defending Nicola, but she is no different to any other Mum offered a wodge of cash for a short stint, most people would jump at it rather than doing a 9 to 5. And as for Denise, did you not hear her say very clearly "I dont want my letter, I know my boys love me" or something along those lines, so she is being a hypocrite as she fell in with what Gareth, Frankie and the Twins agreed

I'm sure there are men and woman working and serving all over the world who miss their kids. That doesn't make them hypocrites.

By "everyone else" you mean Denise. She was the only one in the other room who was a Mum, wasn't she? Of course, by your own reasoning, she also left her kids but added the little gift to them of making a freak show of herself on national television. Anyone who can make Nicola look reserved must be a bit of a case.

What do you think of the whole incident?

Nothing more than Denise sooking in with Nicola by saying she understood & had no problem with her hitting the buzzer because she needs allies in the house, and Nicola she felt was one. When Nicola took one of the 'untouchables' side (mostly because Nicola was right to say what she did, despite her having a bond with Denise, she felt what Denise did was wrong, and she said so at the time of the incident) - Denise decided to throw a wobbly and cast up something that Denise proclaimed earlier that didn't matter to her, that she said she understood - but now was changing her story because she wanted to have something to hit back with.

It's called being the two faced hypocritcal wizen old scutter that is very commonly known as Denise.
